Transformers Generations Selects Voyager G2 Sandstorm

 

Gives me a classics ramjet feel with its color scheme. Great for those of us who have multiple scaled seekers on display. It also fills a want in more characters...sort of...Giving him the name Sandstorm strips the numbers in the autobot army. Wich is odd when so much focus has gone into creating an aligned universe. Sort of like a ha ha on the way out for the Warden team. All this great work and then BOOM!!! Fix that continuity error next guy...

 

It's not like multiple characters can't bear the same name. We're getting 2 Optimus' and two Megatrons in Kingdom.

 

On one hand I want to get all the seekers they release in WFC, but on the other hand 4 Coneheads don\'t display well together. I need like 1 more to have Thrust in the center flanked by two on each side

 

Love the colors on this.

I’d just have rather had the G2 Ramjet colors...
But I got nuthin against this guy.  

 

he looks great in package. really reminds me of desert storm. at the time my mom had a boyfriend that did a few tours in iraq, i remember sending and recieving letters to/from the front line. getting the flyers that the US military used to warn citizens that bombs were coming, Iraqi currency, etc. i still have all that stuff. i wasnt planning on getting this figure but now i think i will, as a tribute to desert storm.

also gives me hope for future voyager class selects figures. id like to see kingdom inferno as selects artfire.

Ramjet and his redecos can have their own team.

Sandstorm should realistically be out by the end of the year from various other vendors.

 

well if the redecos head a new team i would want blackout/blackdeath using the starscream mold

 

I’m not seeing a continuity error. G2 Sandstorm has his name since the early 90s.

I like to imagine that this Sandstorm is Shattered Glass Sandstorm. Same goes for Battle Gaia Sandstorm (G1 Brawl repaint). I want a repaint of Titans Return Blitzwing as Shattered Glass Sandstorm, whose jet mode represents G2 Sandstorm and tank mode representing G1 Battle Gaia Sandstorm.

paint job doesn’t look right for this figure should have used starscream figure for this repaint looks weird with this type of jet mode

always found it weird that they were planning this for G2, when I think G2 I think about bright neon colors like some kinda 90s lisa frank acid trip
