I really hope the rumor for a Netflix Cheetor pans out. The engineering looks great, but the colors kinda suck. The blue needs to be darker and it needs some gold. I'm honestly more bothered by Cheetor's colors than Megatron's.

Speaking of Megatron however, and I admit this is just a dumb thing that bugs me, I wish he was shorter. I was hoping he'd be roughly equal height with the old Transmetal figure, as I've always found it odd that with the toys he gets shorter when he gets upgraded. But instead he looks to be as close to a properly-sized Leader we've gotten since Siege Magnus? Which is neat in it's own way.

Y'know, Cyclonus looks so great, but his face (particularly his cheek area) is pretty stretched out.
I used my MS Paint skills to squish his face just a tad, and to me it makes quite a significant difference.
    What do you guys think?

They're all pretty close to perfect scale actually. I can see Primal, he's small for a Voyager. But Warpath is nearly as tall as a normal Deluxe, and Cyclonus is tall for a Voyager. How are they too small?

Yes, these were officially presented to tfw to take some pictures, so there's nothing sneaky going on. It's pretty cool that Hasbro sent these figures out early for pics

Where'd you get that pic of Primal with the Primes?

    Edit: Here's a direct comparison

What do you mean, you don’t think shops should stock massive, shelf-hogging bricks with flip out armour? They’re sooooooo much more important than those silly “generations” things.

Cyclonus is too short IMO. Cyclonus is supposed to be tall like Ultra Magnus, Grimlock and Sixshot.

I'm hoping Dinobot will be the same height as Cyclonus.

I never considered Cyclonus to be UM's height. Hell he's never towered over Galvatron in any Cartoons or comics. I did just rewatch G1 S3 episode "The killing Jar" which painted picture of Cyc and UM being polar opposites. Couldn't tell if they were equal height since the animation was inconsistent trash anyway.

Yes. That thing limits arm movement range a lot.

Neat! So Cyclonus is indeed taller than Megatron which is appropriate considering he was also taller than Galvatron in the cartoon. Scale remains accurate.

Also, I was pretty surprised at Generations Rhinox being almost at the same size as Kingdom Primal since I don't remember him being so short. It has been a long time I guess.

    A couple things:
    • Warpath, along with Beachcomber, are supposed to be shorter than at least the Datsons, so Warpath is perfect here.
    • I do think Cyclonus here is fine, but maybe a tad too short.
I like the scale overall, and I am curious to see how Galvatron will scale with them

I will agree that the scale in Transformers shows like G1, Armada and a few others is inconsistent trash. I just know that according to the official Japanese scale Cyclonus, Ultra Magnus, Grimlock and Sixshot are all almost 23 feet tall.

Ok...Rattrap is definitely too small for my liking, so hopefully a "Deluxe" version of him will be made if beasts do well enough to continue getting made.

Either that or an OS KO needs to be made....whichever comes first. :lol

Anyway, as I've said numerous times in the past, I'm really hoping that there will be a re-release of all of the BW show characters in their original toon colors, as that would make these already good looking toys look phenomenal!

Here's an overview of the legs and how they work.

I think the "in the middle" style (last column) is most normal out of the three. Key here - they don't click into place in any state, and they are a firm joint. So to get poses, you can put too much pressure and unbalance him easily. It can't be done easily with one hand and the figure on ground, you need two hands and surgical precision to get dynamic poses with feet planted. That is the only negative on him now that I've messed with him a bit. Once you do get him how you want, with focus and energy, he works.

Of note - the feet are not lined up below to be at same floor level, so heights on quick glance are not exact.

I think most of WFC are perfectly scaled, granted when talking about scale you must specify if you are talking about

    1. How you remember them from childhood
    2. Their scale based upon a single episode
    3. Their scale based upon the sum/average of all cartoon appearances minus errors
    4. Their scale per an official scale chart
    5. Their scale per a particular comic book appearance.

I feel that WFC hits a balance between 3, 4 and what realistic, sensible etc.

Funnily enough, I think T30 Rattrap might be a bit too big for the new Kingdom figures. Is a shame because something in-between Kingdom and T30 for Rattrap would have been perfect.
