Wow!! How can you go so long without opening your new figs?

I'm 35, and am still...and let me emphasize on this...a HUUUGE kid lol. Sometimes I'm in the middle of working when my packages arrive, and I stop immediately, and open up my figs.

I went to sleep around 6am the night before (morning) I got my M09, and I still managed to get up around 10am just to wait on the mail truck lol.

 

Lol, 36 myself and if it wasn't for some self restraint I would have ended up in the poor house. I tried to be a completist in 1998, missed only one figure but I was burnt out on that anyway.

I can't afford to be impulsive, I have a wife, two kids, two cats, 20 years left on the house, 20K in student debt, another 36K in other loans that depend on me being able to control my impulses...delayed gratification is what gets me through the day. That's why I only focus on the figures I really really want and I make myself wait to enjoy them. I have to EARN my playtime, if that makes any sense.

 

I understand where you're coming from. I'm married and have a 15 year old but don't have any debt, so I can kinda get away with spending a little more than I should.

I'm also not a completionist, so I save a little money there. The only exception to that was SS Devastator. I had to get all the Constructions, but now I'm just bored with it , so I'll be getting rid of him lol.

 

When I was a lad, half the packaging would have been ripped out at the KB Toys and the other half would be at the floor of the car. I had no patience, and I could be fully immersed in Auto/Con warfare for hours.

Today, if I transform 3 a week it's A LOT. But I still have some of those that I opened in the car and visit them now and again. I enjoy my wants.

 

Damn, I remember KB Toys lol. But I'm more patient with my regular retail stuff, so some toys may sit in the box for about 20 mins bfr I open them.

But 3P and MPMs... those get opened immediately lol.

 

IIRC, at KB’s, half the packaging was already ripped.

 

I gotta say that I've only had good luck with ShowZ's packaging. Only a couple of boxed have ever arrived a little dented from transit or customs, and that was back before the pandemic. All the ones arrived this year have been tightly packed and with the corner protectors, too. Good job!

Hey, I just sent you guys a message on Facebook messenger (Order 20052402450122). I think my package got delivered to the wrong address, half way across the country (according the tracking...lol).

 

Sometimes when it gets handed off at a certain location or when a different carrier takes over it will say delivered.

really guys? A FT Ko larger than ultra magnus for $50...on top of that the pic comes up as the 2nd image for me when i search for ft phoenix on google. Why waste Show.z's time chasing something like this until there's something to actually chase beyond crappy internet rumor?
