Who's your favorite kid appeal character in transformers

I think different versions of Bumblebee should have separate entries in the poll. G1, Animated, Bayverse, and Primeverse Bumblebees are all very different characters.

 

Hands down Cheetor... the Beast Era version not the Cyberverse version. Cyberverse Cheetor was useless and annoying.

Beast Era Cheetor was one of the best written characters of all time because he actually matures like a real person. He's literally the only character with actual character development.

We also have a soft spot for Bumblebee cause he was a favorite when the body was 4. I would pretend he was my favorite normally but since we've already come out as a system I might as well just say the reason I can't remember anything is because I technically didn't even exist back then. I split off around age 11 so I have no real memories from age 4. Another alter does who is a little and a trauma holder stuck at that age. So unless he comes out of dormancy or fuses with other alter we don't have access to those memories. I only know what my dad has told me from that time and from what little we were able to recover during therapy back when we were still in high school... which isn't much so yeah, I know G1 Bumblebee is a favorite for an alter but I can not communicate with him to find out more than that... and that would probably not be too high on my list of priorities of things I would ask him if I could. Plus I still need to find a specialist who's affordable so I can get back into therapy again.

Anyway... I also really like Tracks... he's not on your list but "Make Tracks" and "Auto Bop" focus on Raoul and kind of make Tracks to fill the kid appeal role in those episodes. I also like Raoul more than Spike and wish they did more episodes with him.

And Arcee from Transformers Prime because her relationship with Jack in that series is leaps and bounds better than G1 Arcee and Daniel.

BTW Wheelie shouldn't even be in the poll no one likes him.

Cheetor was the best is I feel like they aged him up at a rate similar to the viewers. But I voted Energon Ironhide we should not be allowed to forget that sin.

Personally, I like Minerva and Nautica the most as kid-appeal characters. I feel Minerva really added a lot of innocence to Masterforce, while Nautica really was a great youthful presence that actually allowed me to continue with the MTMTE run. She is that good IMO.

I also like Nightscream and Cheetor as kid-appeal characters. Nightscream is just a very nicely developed character who started being somewhat hostile but eventually learns to be empathetic and a teamplayer.

Cheetor had some great development, growing from the immature kid to being actually a natural leader. That is just an excellent arc of character growth.

I must be one of the few people that actually doesn't mind Wheelie. In fact, I kinda like him in season three, but in Headmasters, he was just so annoying and I really wished someone would just throw him into the sun.

Bumblebee... he is alright, but a bit meh. Same with Hot Shot.

Energon Ironhide... UGH. Kicker and Ironhide are the worst combo you can ever get.

 

Cheetor has the best writing. Bumblebee has little character writing, and Hot Shot is just a younger Hot Rod.

 

I like the Junior Headmasters from Masterforce: Goshooter, Minerva, and Cab. And also Holi and Kakuryu from Victory.

 

Those were my favorites.

 

I dont really like any of these so I just went with cheetor

 

I'm a casual pleb. It's Bumblebee, doesn't really matter which, though I'm torn between G1 and Animated's

 

For me?

This will seem out of left field, but after Bumblebee, Hound in the G1 cartoon premiere.

 

My ideal Hound is just someone the audience in general can connect to, not just kids.

 

Which Bumblebee? G1? Animated? Prime? Movie?
