Thanks for the link. Flint ordered! The retro figures in this new wave are all a pass for me. I hope they release a retro Flint and either tweak the 25th or fix the 30th but correcting the leg length, paint, and turtleneck.
looks like they dialed back the sci-fi elements a lot from the earlier JOE characters, which should please people
Got Flint and Lady Jaye from BBTS. Walmart was fighting me to check out ("oops, zomglol something teh happend") but mobile worked. Can't...unsee...
That Duke is an absolute joke; using the original 25th mold is a disgrace and shows how little Hasbro cares about the retro line. 50th Flint body, Duke head and 25th bandolier...done! and the fact the two Hasbro buffoons were trying to sell the sculpting detail in that POS... pathetic. Cobra Commander is almost as bad.
Kirk Cameron forgives you. But yeah, these figures are not impressive. Kirk Cameron I have no opinion on.
Flint's been hitting the gym. Lady Jaye looks decent enough if a bit generic with her face sculpt. Preordered both. Flint always came across as an arrogant know-it-all dick on the show to me (which was on purpose, I realize, as that's how his character is supposed to be portrayed) but I dug his beret with ammo bandoliers combo plus shotgun as his main weapon for his toys. I always liked Jaye with her unique spears and disguises while undercover. Together they were the Joe power couple.
