Where is this Voyager Hot Rod you speak of? All I see is a deluxe sized Rodders standing next to Deluxe sized Kup!
Still don't love Kup's face.. might 3P replace it if they make one. But very nice with the Energon Goodie dispenser!! There aren't nearly enough props. Was kind of wondering that too. I hope they're not just charging $10 for all of Hot Rod's accessories. I guess it'd be more if they were 3rd party. Maybe leg extensions for Rodimus mode.
He's a deluxe in height, but his engineering is vastly superior to deluxes. Compare Kup and Hotrod. Hotrod is the spitting image of the 86 movie. Kup looks accurate, but not to a T. Hotrod has a higher piece count, more accessories and paint. And contains more gimmicks.
1. Everybody already knows from previous leaks that this Rodimus is coming with a bunch of new accessories and a face-changing gimmick for the goggles he had in the movie, which pushed his parts count to about the voyager price point. 2. It's Studio Series. The prices should not even a surprise to anyone anymore.
Well that's a shame. Throw in a space Winnebago rear end, would that make him a Leader price point? I guess this guy will be on the same 'Voyager' shelf as the new Voyager Primal which is also Deluxe sized?
Throw in a face changing gimmick with those added Weaponizer features and pop him on the Voyager shelf next to Hot Rod!
Price points do not directly correlate to size, this has been known since Studio Series and WFC started
Something about Kups face is off. I can't handle it. Its very Kup. But maybe the permanent frown instead of more of a scowl. I dunno. i dont like it.
I'm holding on to my iGear Kup replacement head set from a few years ago - gonna see what his cygar head will look like on SS Kup when he turns up.
Ha ha, love how Kup's knees are not fully transformed and he is standing in that awkward pose... "fix me" without a doubt. Nevertheless, still looking forward to every figure in this line.
So I guess you won’t be happy when you find out Rodimus Prime is rumoured to be Commander Class? And they already added a cheap trailer to a voyager figure and charged a Leader Class price for Earthrise Prime so you should not be surprised by this.
Same man, here’s hoping the ball joints are close to the same size. there’s something about this figure’s body that is very “spotlight kup” in aesthetics. He may end up being a perfect idw model
yeah i might pick this up just for the energon snacks thing. but other than that this doesnt interest me.
Or a bin with nice weapons and some crocks to Astrotrain to make a Voyager Leader class haha Or Voyager Shockwave with a bunch of crazy arms and legs.
