Geez...I never saw this coming. I met the guy at L.A. Comic-Con 2018. Got his autograph on a couple of things. He did a pretty impressive Christopher Walken. RIP, and may da Schwartz be wit' him, wherever he is now.

 

His voice is pretty recognizable. I first heard him as Trowa Barton, Gundam Pilot of Heavy Arms in Gundam Wing, then Miroku of Inuyasha. Very sad. He just finished the Dub of episode 1 of Yashahime. May you rest in peace Kirby Morrow. 

 

Same here. Heavyarms was my favorite Gundam from Wing as well.

 

GOD DAMMIT NOOOOO. Gundam Wing and Dragon Ball Z were a huge part of my life growing up....and he was just recently announced for Yashahime (Inuyasha sequel)  

 

The fact Kirby voiced Hotshot and rad were just some of the roles Kirby did, I also remember him voicing Elecman, Dr. Tofu, Anakin Skywalker and General Grievous.

 

Damn, 47 is way too young. Never watched Cybertron, but I do remember watching Ninjago back in 2011 and thinking that Cole was one of the coolest ninjas. What I’d give to go back to that time. Rest in peace.

 

I enjoyed his work in Armada as Rad and in Cybertron taking over for Hot Shot which I liked a lot. Thank you for your contributions and Rest in Peace, sir.

 

If it wasn't mentioned here I wouldn't have known he voiced Cole. Great voice actor. R.i.p.

 

Wow, that sucks. I clearly remember him in Cybertron, had no idea he was in Ninjago. 47 is too young though.

 

I knew Kirby Morrow was in Ninjago, I didn't know he was in Inuyasha as Miroku or Hot Shot from Cybertron later. I had this one idea I thought up of this one season in Ninjago where it went in a Spider-verse direction and it has Cole as a demon-slaying monk, just like Miroku.

 

Rewatched all of Inuyasha then watched Final Act and the last movie for the first time. This hit too hard. Also watching through Gundam so might hold off on that for a bit.

RIP and thanks for the awesome work over the years. Condolences to his family.

 

What a gut punch, since I just started watching Armada again. I'm sorry he's gone at such a young age, and I'm sorry for his family as well. Having only heard him in Armada and Cybertron, I was not familiar with his other work, but I'm glad he was able to share his talents with the rest of the world, because it seems like he left an impact on many people. May he rest in piece.

 

I haven't seen much of Mr Morrow's work, but a sudden loss like this is always tragic.

May his soul rest in peace.

Transformers Cybertron was what really got me into Transformers as a kid so this hits home heart. Rest in peace Kirby.

Well it's safe to say that 2020 can go screw itself with a claw hammer, damn 2020 to Cybertron hell. Words cannot describe how much of a saddend shock this truly is, it honestly feels like a hard solid punch to both the stomach and the face at the exact same time and it's an absolute shame that he's been taken away from us way too soon at the early age of 47 years old, he still had his whole life ahead of him. I remember his performance as Rad white from both Armada and Energon and Hot Shot from Cybertron quite fondly while watching Armada, Energon and Cybertron. Rest well in piece Mr Kirby Morrow, may your spark join the matrix the greatest of Cybertron. We're all going to miss you for years and decades to come.
