He does have a great color scheme, though I always loved Roy Fokker’s yellow-and-black trimmed battloid, too!
Update for you folks Maverick is mostly of made of Nylon Dude has tiny tabs like Apeface all over his torso assembly like where the nosecone attaches to his hip area, back of his upper thighs for jet mode, the panel on his back that folds down to fill in the back of the jet pegs in a small tab in robot mode, and small hooks on his heels on where they connect to the those thrusters in robot mode, and where his shoulders connect in robot mode, are needed to flex for the shoulder hooks to latch in securely, plus the guns are long and skinny and so are the missiles. the tabs on his elbows that tab his arms into the bottom of the jet mode and some really tiny tabs the thickness of a fingernail on the part that the missiles attach to in jet/robot mode, So dude has small tabs all over him, some i couldnt see without looking at the figure closer
That's definitely my favorite canon Macross version. If we get another toy-style Jetfire a Roy-themed repaint would be sick, but I think that would be pushing it too far with Harmony Gold haha.
Ah fuck Harmony Gold. Hasbro should just say FU and release Uni 2.0 Jetfire(or Generations I'm not picky, an FU is still an FU) in all the Robotech colors. So that's what Roy, uh Roy's brother(sorry forgot his name), Max, Miriya, and the generic brown right?
I have a G1 Jetfire but I do appreciate the Siege one more, with it's cartoon design. I loved Robotech as a kid and I think it's because I love it so much I have a hard time accepting that mold as a legitimate Transformer. I have most of the Bandai reissues of the old 80's Valkyrie mold that were released in the early 2000's.
As noted, Takara's done a ton of cross-branded licensing from Nike shoes to a Mickeymus Prime to MP-10 redeco'd in Eva.01 colors. Disappointed we never got Energon Tow-Line as the A-Team van or as the Ninja Turtles' party wagon.
Dam Hasbro needs to follow suit. Instead of making the character new. Make transformers out of joe/cobra vehicles. A little blue paint and some cobra stickers I could pull it off

Totally agree. I like to use the mega blocks figures with TF. Feel like they generally scale well with the CHUGS in bot mode.
There was a list of upcoming figures that was leaked. Besides T-Wrecks and BW Grimlock, Rexy and the JP jeep were on the list
There was the transforming snoopy doghouse in the Q series by Takara as well. It’s cute. So with the newsposts today I learned Hasbro owns Wizards of the Coast. I would like one “Weatherlight” transformer to become the ultimate nerd, please.
