Neither of which were dubbed to be brand new standalone shows either.

I'll be interested to see how widely this book covers Universe 1: The vast majority of the toys in that originated in or was used in the series covered here.

It probably won't be covered as that was a Hasbro toyline not released in Japan.

Universe, and similarly the RID exclusives line, was really more of a supplement to Armada and a precursor to Classics, so I don't think it's considered a part of the Beast generation and likely won't be covered here.

Both extensively reuse toys from the beast era
The original Generations covers Machine Wars and all the G1 and G2 toys not released in Japan.

The annual Generations books regularly feature non Japanese releases.

Fair enough. It'll be interesting to see if they are featured then! Perhaps only the Beast era derived molds. In that case, Robot Masters might make an appearance as well.

Beast Generations is listed from the publisher "Hobby Japan". Hero-X (formerly Million Publishing) is the publisher for the Generations mooks. Are they related in any way? I do not see any mention of Beast Generations on Hero-X's Twitter account.

Speaking of which, have we seen any indication of the Generations 2021 book?

Why it took 20 years for takara to categorize Car Robots as beast era?

    Is this the one?

    AmiAmi [Character & Hobby Shop]

Scratching my head too. I thought they retconned it to be G1 in between (2000 and 2005) unless their reference point is "when"/where" FireConvoy orignated from.

the CR Transformers obliviously came from the future after BM:
    1. the 3000 years part
    2. Fire Convoy is one of those Convoy class created to Honor Primal
    3. Vector Sigma isn't a Myth.
It also Clearly they came from the Future after Neo:
    1. No CR Reference between BM and Anime BW in the Blue Big Convoy comic.
    2. Destron (Predacon) Change their Faction name to Destronger as Part of their "Evolution" as well their size.
And we all Know Fire Convoy and Forces might have change their size and Symbols to pose as their Ancestor in 2000.

This might explain the size change.

Beast Wars 2 Reference when Black Convoy begins to Remember.

This shouldn't really be a question of "continuity." It's about "the Beast Era" as referring to a real-world period of the franchise's history, into which Car Robots has always fallen.

Irrelevant. This book includes Hasbro's frikkin' Animorphs toys because it concerns toys, not continuity.

Sure, and Animorphs are also part of the "Beast Era" of the Transformers franchise's real-world brand history.
