So far it has been $30 USD for black dragon (that was the cost of the item) through Superbuy, but I have yet to ship it to me (they just sent me images that it got to their warehouse) since I am waiting on Frosty and Beludes I also ordered to reach them to ship together. Also I plan to use EMS for shipping once they are all there if it does not break the bank, so I might not be the best example of costs then lol.

So, uh, I may be opening a can of worms here, but what are people's experiences with Big Bad Toy Store when it comes to 52Toys? How frequently do they get the toys in? Like, I've got Jetsam on order, but did I screw up? How long will I be waiting?
I have Rhyden, Behemoth, Torado and Jetsam pre-ordered through them. Had five others, but I got antsy and ended up getting them from Ebay and canceled the BBTS orders. They've been a bit late with pre-orders from overseas, so if you need them by a certain time like I did, it may be easier getting them elsewhere.
Slow AF. If you're not in a hurry, BBTS will get them eventually. I have a few BB/MBs in my PoL and a few pre-orders with them as well. If I'm in a hurry or want a better price I go through ShowZ or Bababobo and I'm currently looking hard at that blue spider via SuperBuy. Edit: cancelling via BBTS is a breeze if you want to secure a figure from elsewhere
Of course the exclusive crab would be the one that looks most like Jazz. Urgh that black dragon looks so damn good. Still hoping they do a translucent jade green one though. Well at least with 52toys they give you a nice variety of colors to choose from. Speaking of which I still need to get a Dio.
I've fancied with the idea of doing this kind of thing but it always felt like such a hassle. But the black dragon may just be the tipping point for me. Question though - how does one get an address overseas?
thanks, just trying to get a sense if it's worth the trouble of trying to figure out how to set up all these different accounts to try and buy off taobao. if i have to pay a lot more in fees and extra shipping costs then it's probably not for me. are we able to use PayPal for payment on TaoBao and/or proxy services? i'm hesitant to freely give out credit card number directly to companies based in China. is the white racing crab still available for sale anywhere?
@OCProwl - I live overseas so my address is overseas lol. You set it up with your taobao account and it just ships over there as long as you pay the forwarder. @TIKnTIN - If you dont mind the slightly higher shipping costs I'd say it's worth it, guarantees you get the figures ASAP and gives you the chances to get the limited edition ones Question, anybody know anything about the matrix monster line? I got my fiery dragon a year or two ago and saw they 3d printed some of the next figures but didn't hear anything about it since and can't find any additional info. Would love to buy more of their larger figures but info is scarce to none.
Sadly no word on that line for the past few years that I am aware of, just the Rathalos and two Palico (non-transforming) figures ever got released to the best of my knowledge. It is a shame, the Rathalos was not as solid as BB/MB but I still would have gotten any of the other monsters done in that manner.
Actually isn’t this Buying Transformers on Taobao the best resource for buying off Taobao? It has helped so many of our TF brethren.
Is there any word on how the Translucent Predator will be available? Is it going to be exclusive to some store or another?
