There is a difference between a pearl-esque white and pearlescent; and yes God Neptune is definitely not pearlescent. I myself mistakingly referred to it as pearl-ish due to the original often being called pearl colored. I have never seen the original set, but the Selects version is more of an off-white (as far as I am able to discern, it’s white mixed with a pinch of grey).

I think people’s impressions of the plastic are gonna vary depending on how much daylight (if at all) enters their display area and/or the colors of their interior. It’s likely some collectors will never even realize/notice how transparent and white this set is.

Here’s a comparison pic with the original. Someone shared this before, but I forgot who (I thought payres but that’s not the case). I do prefer the colors of the original, that’s for sure.

 

Just have to find Ravage in a bin somewhere and wait for the DNA gun to arrive and I’m all good! The Thunder Mayhem Matrix represents the same one that Galvatron II came with

 

I see DNA has gone into hibernation again. I also ordered the Matrix Buster kit and kinda doubting if it will even get released by the end of the year.

Just realized they're due to ship from Pulse this week. And, if I recall, they've already been pushed back once so the 12/3 date should be golden.

 

Have they even shipped Super Megatron yet? He was supposed to ship a month before God Neptune.

 

Super Megs 12/1, God Neptune 12/3 is the latest I seen.

I have been refusing to buy anything else until I have God Neptune and Super Megatron in my hands, lol.
