I am really worried as ShowZ told me the factory said nothing else had been improved from the first batch except for the painted eyes. I think I will avoid getting one now. If the plastic quality is the same then I will have the same problem over and over again.
I hope so too. The painted eyes, yellow arrows, no bent antennas fixed a lot of my complaints about the 1st batch. And the excellent review some pages back convinced me they adjusted most of the tolerances. Sometimes materials need to be changed, and sometimes it is just tolerances that have to be fine tweaked. We shall see.
Get one and spray paint it red? Or Grey? I mean its a no brainer and not difficult at all. Blast and damnation....I could not figure out what the hell I was looking at! Can we have some side and back shots? It looks incredible!
So it's been about a month since I heard from ShowZ about that part with no reply. I followed up today but don't expect to hear much back. If anyone has a trashed model that wants to make a couple bucks for that missing piece, hit me up. Honestly at this point I'm keeping it parked on a shelf and am considering thinning out my MP collection down to my core favorites, it's just too much work. Maybe when a reliable KO comes out I'll go for that.
ShowZ should be able to get some replacement parts for you. They have for me and other people. Try contacting them by sending them a private message on these boards or through their dedicated thread. Their replacement part section on their website is just too weird to use.
Τhe fact that there is a KO replacement part service is astounding. I had two instances through other sellers (ebay to boot) and I got serviced. I supposed an organised retailer can do it better, but the times are hard right now.
