+1 Yep. I got my HasTak Quint judges and Allicon guards today... and for the price, they are a steal compared to XTB Dr. Egg. I also like the sculpt and detail of the HasTak faces better.

 

Hmm. I thought those look the right size for MP scale. Maybe I need to see some season 3 episodes again.

Although I have to say looking at photos (I have Hasbro's in hand), I think Hasbro nailed the death face better, but a lot of the others look better on Dr. Egg. Of course the death face is for many of us the most desirable. The only reason I'm getting Dr. Egg is because they've teased the prosecutor and I'm worried Hasbro's won't look right with him. Otherwise Hasbro's is great as far as I'm concerned.

 

As is the custom with the G1 cartoon, you can find their size varying from shot to shot....From Galvatron to Magnus size, to relatively tiny.

Hasbros prosecutor is spot on...The only problems are: He is part of an exclusive set, he is tiny, whoever designed his beam effect must be fired.

I wound up cancelling my preorder for Dr. Egg. I just can't bring myself to spend $125.00 on a background piece for my collection. The Earthrise version just arrived and it's more than good enough.

 

Man, if $125 for a BG character is bad, imagine the actual price of $175!

 

I’ve got the set. But I honestly don’t think I’m ever opening it. I think the presentation is cooler than any of the actual figures. If it was cheaper/easier to get I would have bought 2. Initially I assumed I’d probably open it eventually, but I haven’t yet.

but the prosecutor is just too small to take seriously, no matter what they got right. Especially since my other quintesson is displaying with my mp toys.

 

Price wise is...or rather the first batch, was spot on IMHO. You get two new figures priced at 30ish each + the sharkticon + plus the extras. Id call it fair, and I probably would have bought at least two.

I dont disagree in the least regarding the prosecutors size though. I Just wish some up-sizes it at the very least....

price wasn’t unreasonable for what you get. But the only thing I actually want to take out of the box is the Alicon variant. Wasn’t interested in paying double just for that.

 

Εh well...two Quints and two Bailiffs. Plus the sharkticons if you dont have them. Just from my perspective though.

Yep, he can pull it off alright....

Plus consider all other criticisms on him invalid, in person nothing looks wrong. Photos dont do him justice at all....

 

Who all is still in on this guy? And what are you paying? Ive still got him preordered but wanna know what to expect.

 

Seeing as this is supposed to be released in less than two weeks.................. How come there's still no final production images? I'm curious to see what additional paint it has over the test sample we've seen.

 

Honestly is peculiar, but seems like nothing new. Downbeat Premium's got jack shit shown off since the initial reveal.

Really am hoping for something new to show off before release, they're losing time to take me out of my "i'm torn" position.

 

This egg better be edible during an emergency!!!
