Too little too late for me. I wish they would have announced this right as Hasbro announced the Commander class Jetfire. I've settled into my bed of (medium) regret. Awesome news for everyone else.

I got one during the last release and seriously, if you're even considering it, just grab one before the re-release sells out. Easily one of my favorite figures.

Also Dear Primus - sell/donate or obliterate the Daca Toys version.

 

IDK if i can, they already charged me. If it stays at 279.99 and i don't get dinged with tax it'll be okay. They didn't tax me for another figure i got from there (TT Bluestreak) so fingers crossed.

No... Kronos is not getting thrown out, or sold on eBay for ten whole dollars.

No... I plan to keep Kronos in the archival study, and will bust him out as a "stunt-double" for Phoenix when necessary.

Truth be told, I always found Phoenix, at 14 inches, too tall by about an inch (an inch can be significant in MP scale).But, there's no denying that FansToys Phoenix is superior in every way!!

So... it goes without saying that I cannot wait for this!! After being in a FT Phoenix-free household for so many years, I'm tempted to order two of them.

I honestly would be interested in picking one up for myself as well, just cause it's such a, dare I say LANDMARK? In 3P history just cause of how much of an oddity (would oddity be the right word?) he was in general.

I knew once I saw that initial post with the link, that I HAD to jump. Ask questions later, ha.

Skyfire's been a real favorite of mine for a good while, so this is just all the more meaningful because of that fact.

Anyhow. Given my unhinged spending spree over the past month, I really can't swing FT Phoenix, at least without doing something drastic like exchanging MP-44 to get him. Not an easy figure to pass up though.

 

Man this thing is selling out fast. TFSource is the only place i know of that has any left.

 

I received the alert this morning from BBTS. I'm glad that so many will be able to get this guy. He's a beast and a great addition to any MP collection. I have both versions and seriously considered getting another. I hope FT releases more of their greatest hits soon.
