I’m assuming Bumblebee will probably be 6 inches tall,so I’ve got the KBB Hornet displayed with these guys just in case.

 

That first YT review didn’t do these guys any favors,they are much better in hand,the nostalgia hit me hard with these guys.

 

No RED at my local WM. I still have Megs, Prime & SW on back order. But someone had both Megs, Prime loose for a good price for purchase. So I will wait for SW & return the other 2 once the shipment arrives.  

 

I got an email from Walmart today, saying my preorder from June is scheduled for delivery December 2. When I checked the in stock status, It was available for delivery by Nov. 20. I ordered another set of Prime & Megs, and canceled my preorder. 

 

I think he looks pretty damn good 

 

They all do,guess people that don’t like them may be hung up on the size or that they don’t transform,bring on Starscream!

 

I was going to do the same thing.... but then mine started to ship today.

 

I saw a Soundwave on a peg, and just looking at it in the box it looked cheap. Maybe I should try one in hand.

 

Mine shipped as well, so at least preorders do seem to be going out, so that's good.

Still waiting on preorder Netflix Impactor and Wheeljack to ship. Grr...

I missed the pre-order but saw there are in stock or were a couple of days ago. The have shipped and will be in my hands Friday. That definitely is not fair to pre-order people. Complain and Walmart is likely to take 10% off...

 

Same Energy

 

Saw Soundwave RED in store and thought the same thing. I especially didn't like his neck. It looked oddly long and stringy on the one I saw.

 

Going off of memory looking thru the clear plastic for a few moments quite a while back:

The plastic didn't seem to have any kind of finish, or look quality. It just looked, well, rough for the lack of better words.
Plus the design of the figure itself seemed rather gangly.

 

Just got all three in the mail today and gotta say, they're not bad. They're weightier than I expected and they seem to be made from the same plastic that the MSIA Gundam line was. Megatron is the only one with an ab crunch but they all have a decent level of motion. Nothing mind blowing but they're fun to mess with. Overall, I enjoyed these. Guess I'm collecting this line now too.

 

Yeah, the weight is what really surprised me. They've got some heft.

 

I guess I will bring this question back up seeing that Walmart is now finally starting to kinda get their shit together for pre-orders;

Do you think that the pre-orders will be fixed (or at least significantly better) for waves 2 and beyond?

 

Really hope so, as wave 2 looks promising. Personally, I wouldn’t bet on a better experience.

 

The weirdest thing to me is what these guys do and don't have. I've only opened sound wave but I know they all have leg issues because of the skirts. Yet Megatron has an ab crunch and Soundwave has butterfly joints. Weird.

On a neater note. If I straighten SW out so you can't see the joints, he has the classic design where the legs swoop backwards.

 

Well, I finally saw 1 R.E.D toy.
