Finally came into some disposable cash and was looking to get Scorponok but looks like it is sold out t all the retailers. Any place to order it or is it gone for good?

If Pulse got him again, what's the chance he's shipping to other retailers too?

Lol, that's what I was thinking. Scorponok's been out of stock for months, this guy asks where to buy, and BOOM BAM KABOOM, he's back in stock.

Wow, I was just wondering the same thing. I was usually able to buy the base/city bots on a discount sale in the fall, but I can't even find this guy for sale at all now.

With the demise of TRU, this is a lot less reliable now. It didn't happen with Omega Supreme nor now Scorponok. The last titan to be released while TRU was around was Predaking. Hasbro also seems to have throttled down production to more tightly fit demand and availible outlets. Predaking's only initial retail outlet in the US was TRU I believe. Omega Supreme was online only in the US. Fairly sure that Scorponok's only retail outlet is Target. There just isn't going to be the inventory for the discounts that happened with Trypticon and Fortress Maximus.

From what I know, Targets got one, maybe two Scorponok cases back in August/September. This translates into 2-4 figures. Maybe there will be another shipment later this month or early December in anticipation of Christmas. But even then we're talking maybe single digits number of Scorponoks per store.

Unfortunately nowdays, it really seems that if you want Transformers items past the first wave, your most reliable source of discounts are in initial deals, and not months-late clearance. Case in point, Earthrise Wave 2's been out for a while now, and your only shot is online only. Part of this is Covid, but also just a tighter supply-demand relationship, especially since Target and Warlmart are now Transformers principal brick-and-mortar retail outlets now, with Amazon and Pulse the two primary online pillars. It's not like there is a ton of competition.

Yeah, when I posted it was already gone from Pulse....

I was able to get another Omega when Target had a 25% off later in the Fall that it came out, but at least it was still available around Thanksgiving.

But yea, slim pickings with Scorpy....

My Scorponok from Pulse arrived today.

Between the sweet TFW heads-up (shout-out @Dachande), Hasbro Pulse’s no-shenanigans ordering process, and a quick shipment by FedEx, this was a shockingly easy process. In the current environment (both in terms of the world and the world of collecting), that’s not something one should take for granted.

Now I just have to decide where to hide it from my son until Christmas...

I'm completely surprised he's sold out, especially at that price. I'm guessing that Hasbro didn't make as many as the other Titans, perhaps due to their rather long shelf life. Hopefully some more come down the line for those who really want one.

Or the figure was just really well received and they sold through the usual surplus.
