And u can see one interesting comment from here, regarding as constructions:
I still love these guys in their single bot modes but next to Constructor it just doesn't look right to me. So these will remain my "MP" team in bot mode while Constructor will be my "MP" Devastator.

KO OS GT Gravity Builder (Devastator)

Don't if personally would find them the best individual bots, but here's the Jinboa OS KO bots of Gravity Builder (with some special guests)

Jinbao is the set I want to go with if I'm going to get an MP Constructicon team. I think they look the best, the bots have been upscaled to MP size, the upgrade kit makes Devastator almost as tall as Toyworld Constructor, and it's the cheapest of the bunch. Plus you can get him in G1 or G2 colours.

I think the Constructor team's alt modes are pretty awesome and the closest to the G1 alt modes. It's just the bot modes that aren't very good.

I definitely prefer the Jinboa (well Generation Toy, but whatever) bulkier, tougher look to Toyworld's Constructor.

Shovel is very beautiful, slender and really is the boss :)  for care given in his design. Also Long Haul chest and head and Mixmaster crazy face show great details on team. However other ones are sacrificed by combiner mode.

Their Mixmaster is awesome I have him alone more for alt mode, instead bulky GT and OS KO approach on bot and his mouthplate and also new design on Bonecrusher, for me are some of best versions of these 2 characters.

True, its just that I dont like the fact that they are IDW focused. They hit me in the gonads with that face on Hook :(

If you do end up getting a jinbao kit I recommend getting some extra stabilizing parts @ultraman zoffy. Makes a work of difference imo.

Good advice from what I've read, but if I do buy them, I'm unlikely to ever combine the team. I have no interest in Devastator, just the individual Constructicons. (That's why I titled this post as I did.) I know it sounds ridiculous, but I've never had much interest in any of the gestalt Transformers. I thought they were kind of gimmicky and awkward to play with.

Random side note: My first Constructicon was Bonecrusher, which my mom bought me after a doctor's appointment when I was feeling rough due to a bad cold. I remember playing with him at Wendy's while we waited on our food. The memories of that are for some reason very vivid for me, including the multi-colored "bead curtains" and newspaper-ad tabletops that were part of the Wendy's decor in the 80s. That toy in particular is why I have an interest in the Constructicons now, even though Bonecrusher isn't noteworthy for anything in the TF canon. I just thought he looked cool, and I loved his transformation.

I like the overall design of the bots, but have to agree with you on the face sculpts. I think Mixmaster's face bothers me more than Hook's, though. It's kind of disturbing, but I generally dislike open-mouth expressions on Transformers in general. I don't mind smiles and smirks, but I don't want to see tongues and teeth!

Very similar reason and same sentiments for Optimus Prime, despite the fact that I find ALL the Autobots (sans Ultra Magnus Metroplex and Grimlock) bland and boring.

I think they were actually going for toy accurate, which is mostly toon accurate.

Well, wasn't that the MP-10 Hasui aesthetic he wants? Mashup of toy, toon, and 'realistic'

Don't know what he's looking for as I quit paying attention when I saw he didn't care for toon accurate and I couldn't give an honest, unbias opinion on the chuggo sets he was considering. Just saying TW wasn't really going for toon accurate, but rather toy accurate...which lucky for us MP collectors, the toy wasn't too far from toon accurate...but where they do differ, the TW set follows the toy. And they also weren't going for MP scale, it was just a happy coincidence because they wanted the combined form to be 50 cm and the individual figures just so happen to be Seeker sized as a result. Their other so-called MP style figures run large...

I think your comment best describes my desired aesthetic, yes. I always say “toy-centric” because I don’t like the current MP trend towards hyper-toon styling, but in reality I guess I’m shooting for the less-complicated but realistically-detailed hybrid style that Hasui brought to the Masterpiece line. Figures such as MP-10 OP, MP-17 Prowl, MMC Girder, and XTB Herald exhibit the qualities I seek in a figure.

Sorry, I clearly stated up front that I didn’t like toon accuracy, and I thought I focused on the non-CHUG options. As far as I could tell, TW and GT were the most compatible with MP style and scaling, though it looks like Jinbao is even better.
I do understand what you mean by toon accuracy correlating roughly with toy accuracy in this case, although IMO the “original toy look” is undesirably simplistic, and the cartoon took liberty with the faces, as was typical.
