I'm happy that the legend class is back. I hope Hasbro won't waste it too much on Optimuses and Starscreams.
Let's see some more Minibots, Throttlebots, Energon Terrorcons and Omnicons etc...

 

Sounds like the Minibots will be small deluxes, given Huffer, Pipes, and Warpath being deluxe classes rather than core

Honestly? I'm okay with that. If this were a year ago, I'd be pretty disappointed, but we are getting an entire Beast Wars line right now, TransArt is pumping out TM figures, we are getting Beast Wars on TV for the first time in years. If there is demand for Beast Wars, HasTak is going to figure that out pretty quickly now.

So while the market gives Hasbro their answer, let them spend some time working out how to make quality films. They made one, but if they can give us a few genuinely good films in TF, then a) it will inspire more confidence from me that we can get a good BW film and b) it'll produce more material in the Transformers brand for BW to play off of. I don't want an exact duplicate of 90s Beast Wars, but I would not object to a playful parallel. Somehow BW takes place in the past and plays off of the Transformers movies future, in a new way. By creating more quality content, there are more options to do so. In fact, if they have Beast Wars on the mind, there is the potential they'll make this next TF movie setting up BW in some subtle ways.

In the meantime, we have Kingdom, MP BW and TransArt to tie us over. That's enough for me for now.

 

You just gave me an idea! They could pull a Dawn of Futures Past and have the BW guys hailing from the original Bayverse but after going back in time and altering things it ends up creating the Bumblebee verse

Inferno does it. Inferno is the deadpool of Beast Wars. He's just crazy enough to break the 4th wall. Megatron sends all the predacons out to wreck havock on the time line, they all go to different places. Inferno goes and kills Michael Bay, laughing maniacally.

For me, the coolest thing about the new X-Men collab is the quasi-vintage packaging.

Hopefully if we get some Beast Wars 25th Anniversary redecos, they get some similarly vintage-inspired boxes. I miss the red scales.

 

Kingdom isn't just a toyline. It corresponds to WFC Netflix series. Beast Wars will show up in part 3.

 

I'd rather talk about how great the new Kingdom Tracks is... whenever they decide to reveal him.

 

He will reportedly, due to Apollux, have his flying car mode.

 

Netflix =/= TV to me whoops. Yeah its exciting

 

Kingdom cometh forth. Verily, it shall be the greatest collection of Beast Wars figures in the main line for know.
