Well, before mine broke, I certainly loved my KO. Instantly regretted it when the hip's ratchets gave up.

 

i'm lucky that all i want to do is display him and every so often alter the pose. i might transform him one day if i have a spare hour lol

so for my purposes, the KO will be great

I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on batch 2. I've wanted to mess with the MP-44 mold for a while now, but not fork out the cash for the official one.

 

where did you get the second batch ko from? I was halfway through fixing up the batch 1 and just ran out of time that day. his knee is all apart and i haven't glued the 2 pieces together yet. if batch 2 is devoid of headaches - i'm gonna save myself half a day to a day and just get that. let me know. i don't want to get another batch 1 by accident. i'm nopt convinced everyone sold out of batch 1 and don't want to have to wait to open it to see which i got.

 

I bought it from a seller on XianYu. Because i currently live in China, the option to nab one in days is open to me. I haven't really toyed with him since the review. It was more a risk buying him because Wan Xiang isn't very well known and the batch 1 is infamous for its flaws. I've only owned the batch 2 for a few days. In my opinion, he seems to be a good piece. I can't say if you'll feel the same but I hope you do. That leaves you with a few choices. You can buy it or wait for a professional reviewer to give us their take.

Looks like there is a bit of white on the knee caps on the v2. Wonder why they did that.

 

How easy is it to remove the tires on these KOs? One of my official figures came with a trailer tire attached to the front passenger-side wheel... seems darn near impossible to remove the tires on the official, maybe I need to warm them up or something.

In any case, if the retailer I bought from can't provide a replacement, I can just get a KO and swap them out (If I can figure out how to remove them), and I can keep the KO with a messed up tire as a desk figure in robot mode.

 

They are pretty easy to remove on my copy.

 

I'm not sure if there's truth to it, but is it Wan Xiang (as Toys Mage) that did the KO of MP43 BW Megatron?

 

Dunno if you've all seen this, but ShowZ has been in contact with the factory who produced KO mp44 and they've asked which would be the best seller.

Please more people vote for Black Convoy... I desperately want a black recolor of mp44.
