I honestly wasn’t expecting it to look this interesting but I think I’ll buy this. I’m a sucker for the SR-71 anyway and he’ll nicely slot into my non-standard Wolverines collection.

 

Many if the old marvel crossovers were brilliant though, they were just held back by some poor transfomation choices and reduced articulation

The tank hulk was possibly one of the best ones

Venom, iron man/war machine and Spiderman also had some good toys

(Sadly the best iron man and war machine ones were canceled before release)

 

Well, I pre-ordered it, but I'm not sure if I stick with it given the price. I used the coupon on Venom last week.

Now that they've shown it's possible, I want 8 more different colors of this. I love Blackbirds. I want the Optimus Prime movie to introduce a young version of Movie Jetfire, either in black and red again or in white and red.

 

Yeah, this is not half bad. It's pulling off the "X-Treme 90s" vibe very well. Don't get me wrong, its a very "loud" design but I love it.

Folks, I guaranteed you this is gonna get insane prices in the aftermarket. If you are on the fence, you better pre-order now. We don't got time to wipe tears on faces when folks complain that not enough of these got produced.

The only thing I wish for is a black variant. Maybe Pulse will eventually do that...

No, it's basically a generic X-Men uniform. Try looking at any of the original five costumes. Blue body suit with yellow accents and some sort of X-motif. Look at Morph 's generic costume from the series this is based on. Look at the many blue-and-yellow costumes that any and all x-men have worn over the years.

The Jim Lee Cyclops costume is basically thematically an extension of the regular X-men suits which goes with Cyclops being the leader.

It's an all-around X-Men look.

 

It doesn't remind me of a single member but like someone threw Tarn, Tesaurs, and Vos' designs in a blender.
