Why is everyone so negative

This is miles better than gigawatt, although the colours are a bit too bright, gigawatt had good potential and most of it was good, but the bot mode chest is a turn off, unless you mistransform it on purpose for a different look

Keep in mind, they redecod ectotron, they may redeco this for xforce to have a black .. blackbird

What? You're insisting that it's Cyclops' costume, but there are pretty clear differences. I'm sorry if you can't see them. Jim Lee Cyclops doesn't have X shaped belts on his chest, therefore it CANNOT be claimed that the design is the Jim Lee Cyclops

 

This is an idea I would have drawn in a notebook in elementary school and I love it. Just unapologetically cheesy in a great way. Keep the collabs coming.

 

Love the concept. Hate the name. In my headcanon, his name is “Blackbird”.

Ehhh that looks fugly but that’s probably just me. I knew it would be a retool of Jetfire and be the Blackbird though.

Look, it's maybe 40-50% generic X-Men costume and at least 90% Cyclops' costume. Mathematically it's more Cyclops than not.

A little busy, but in a very 90s X-men way. A bit Kibble-y but not out of the usual realm for modern toys.

X-character touches to the design, Visor, Three claws, 90s colors and pouches. But it's not a lame big metal copy of anyone. It's just an X-man-y robot. Which is great.

The name is "eh." We came up with better things than X-Spanse, but it's not awful.

-ZacWilliam, Leader Jetfire is a spectacular toy. I don't like movie designs and I was super impressed with it when I got it as a gift. If this follows suite, awesome.

 

Seriously, nice effort but probably a pass from me. Love my X-Men and I like that the incorporate a bit of Scott and Logan into the design without making it Transformers Cyclops or Transformers Wolverine. And other than the claws and visor, if there was a generic X-Robot in the early 90s X-Men, this is what I'd expect it to look like.

That said it just doesn't thrill me. Better by far than Maverick, but that's a lot of kibble in both modes and the bot just doesn't have any character.

I mean, I don't hate it. I'm not repulsed by it, but it doesn't excite me like Gigawatt. I just look at it and think "Well, that's there."

Name sucks, robot mode looks alright except for two big problems: those elbows look god awful and I am not at all a fan of those panel "wings" behind the head, they just look distracting.

 

This looks pretty great actually. I was half expecting it to be an ss jetfire but I never thought it would be this reworked. My only major gripe at this point is that the eyes are too big, and if Hasbro just made them a little more stern this would look so much better. In terms of how I\'d rate how it looks, I\'d put it on par with Ectotron just under Gigawatt, if not a little better than Ectotron.

 

I agree. Judging by the feet, pouches and "give him all the powers mindset", this is more Liefeld than Lee.

Anyways, I love how this guy looks! I would love to get my hands on him, but it'll probably be like $100 Canadian, and I don't really think that's worth it for me right now

 

Yep, you're right. It sure isn't EXACTLY Cyclops' uniform. It's just 98% his uniform missing one strap and the orientation of the X emblem. Sorry I misspoke so egregiously.
