I look forward to Hasbro putting out the next update after Unicron's released.

 

I'm excited to see the final deco, but I have this feeling that there'll be any new accessories or minifigs whatsoever.

 

Every tier of the Flagg campaign unlocks the next component to actually build the thing. "8000 backers, that's a lock on the hull skin confirmed. Now let's see about the command decks."

 

Someone a long time ago in this thread who seemed to speak knowledgably about inside information on the project claimed that they discussed adding a little Quintesson ship. I don't know if that's going to pan out, I doubt it. Maybe in the final days of the campaign it was discussed as a surprise for later, but now a year and a pandemic later maybe they just pocketed the extra profits and didn't invest in that. We'll see. Some wishlist accessories I always wanted but didn't end up happening were some little dinobots to kick his butt, blast effects, and a halfway-devoured planet that could fit in his teeth in planet mode.

 

A half eaten planet Lithone that could fit on the planet mode horns like he was eating it as seen in the movie would have been cool. Morbid, but cool.

 

Yeah that's pretty much what I had imagined. Would've been neat.

 

With the recent Centurion accessory pack release, it opens the door to possibly releasing the ships in a second accessory pack. Though that may just be blind hope on my part. Would be cool if they threw in a surprise ship with Unicron but yeah, I doubt it.

 

For the price and the amount over goal, it sure would be nice to have something additional thrown in. I had really hoped for a special figure like the Sail Barge got. I'm guessing either one of the following is true:

-we are getting nothing

-they needed time to fully develop a nice throw in before showing it off and will debut it as a completed item

You never know but I'm doubtful at this point.

 

I love the idea of a accessory pack for Unicron! Tiny ships, slug micro-figureines, blast effects - all that kind of stuff would be terrific!

But please, Hasbro, don't make it a Pulse exclusive, like Centurion Drone was!

Remember how many Unicrons you sold outside the United States and make the accessory pack available accordingly.

Don't sell it via a website that refuses to acknowledge the world beyond the USA and Canada.

Honestly, I think Armada and therefore Sideways will happen after Hasbro decides they've finished with Beast Wars whenever that is, but this is a pretty great opportunity.

 

Well Unicron really didn’t look all that different in Armada. Someone mentioned the planet that Unicron was munching on in planet mode. I can see him in bot mode eating the planet like an apple.

 

Imagine a 3P upgrade/accessory (with new head to replace) that would make him look like Armada Unicron even if atleast only in Robot mode.

 

And a tiny Grimlock figure that could attach to his butt.

I would like to estimate 99.99% we are getting nothing, 0.01% throwing in something new. They may be occupied to other Haslab projects like the Razor Crest and Hero Quest and undergoing developments with the Sentinel figure. They would may now be too lazy to add something in, but rest assured very attentive on preventing some 3P companies as rumors go by with the studio cell Unicron. They may be bitter for how hardworking those people are in transforming engineering. Sorry to sound being so salty, but with most of these subpar engineering, I can't help but to think sometimes that they are surely lazy to even put up a new figure addition. May be possible, but it would just be another repaint/retool. Better than nothing, I guess. So far, I see that the Hasbro's love goes to Star Wars and Marvel. Hence, there are almost no need for 3P companies to exist for those franchises. There are some, but not as many as Transformers.
