Amazon finally charged my card ($0 cause I used a gift card) for the Ironhide set!

 

Damn the white on my Prowl has all kinds of black smudge on it that won’t really come off even with rubbing alcohol ... sucks bc a pristine copy would look heavenly

 

My Autobot alliance pack says it's gonna come on Monday basically on the 16th if it doesn't ship around 13th or 14th it's probably gonna get delayed

 

The best part will be when you see someone post on here that they were able to buy (anecdotally) your set via an "Amazon Warehouse" listing, for a cheaper price, because it had a damaged box.
Happened with the Conehead sets, I'm assuming it will happen with this set too.

Ordered mine on 3rd November Amazon UK for a bit of a discounted price about £36 , it said on the listing it was estimated to be in stock on 9th November I believe. But right now it just says delivery date pending. I'm also a prime member. Just wanted to know that this is normal? And they'll send it when they get em in stock? Just because I haven't pre-ordered from Amazon like this before let alone TFs and have heard of people not getting theirs for various reasons. Anyone else in the same boat?

 

huh, after assuming I probably wouldn't get them since nothing had happened despite ordering in the first few minutes mine suddenly arrived at the Hub Locker by my house with no fanfare...

Posted this in the toys thread as well but I’ll cast a wide net.

So my Prowl/Ironhide set is possibly lost per Amazon. It left their shipping center on the 11th (was lost in the fulfillment center for a while supposedly) but has not been received by the Postal Service. So I put an in stock alert on and will keep that order going for a while but I’m guessing I won’t get it via Amazon. Anyone have experience here with lost Amazon packages?

 

I wouldn't take the USPS at their word, right now. They sat on my UPS MI package from GS for over a week. Chances are Amazon did indeed drop it off at the PO, but they're so backed up that they haven't scanned it in yet, let alone got to it to process it. If you don't get an update in a week (I'm seriously recommending a week), then I'd contact both and give them the tracking information and see what happens.

 

Yeah I’m giving it some time. Amazon shipped it late and then this delay just made it more annoying. Hopefully I’ll get an update on my tracking number from usps next week. I can ride this out for a while.

Ok, so today, both my massive POL and Twopack are SUPPOSED to arrive, which one do you think I'll actually get?

 

Finally got the "confirm delay" email. Dec 18th is the new date

 

I just did too, mine says any time between 12/16 and 1/6.

 

So what are the odds that a third party will give us some replacement parts for all these Ironhide QC disasters?

 

mine finally came friday after a day delay from the bad weather thursday. Happy to get them, but amazon did the slap a shipping label on the bare box and ship it thing. 1st time it's happened to me and I am pretty sure I clicked the box for a box. Shouldn't really have to do that though. Anything being shipped should be in a shipping box or at least a padded envelope.

 

Just got Dirge and Ramjet through via eBay for that juicy premium of £150.

Luckily no major QC issues... though Ramjet is randomly missing a rivet from his ankle.

Bless Hasbro for making these desirable characters national exclusives with haphazard QC.
