I'll stick with my bluray rip of the remastered version no store locked app needed. I also bought it physical just to be clear.

Not bad, but as I don’t use Amazon nor iTunes for videos I’ll just have to make sure with this abominable version I have...

    Stymied by the steelbook @MrLemming!

I never liked the cover on the standard Shout Blu release, but luckily you can flip it for some way cooler Japanese poster art on the inlay. :D

I’d be shocked if these sales were not intended to squeeze a few more bucks out of the HD transfer before a 35th Anniversary 4K version is announced for next year.

Imagine paying $4 to watch a commercial. What a bunch of suckers.

Seriously though, I could see them releasing a 4k edition in the near future (or at least a re-release). I've got the 20th and 30th anniversary releases of the film so I'm covered.

Might be handy in the future when everything stops using physical formats.
I figured a big corp like Disney or Amazon Prime will own it and command Tubi to take it down.
Am suprised Tubi had it for this long.

Wish they would do this with RiD 2000.

    Ebay:
I got TFTM on VUDU a while back, mostly just for convenience. I still have several versions on VHS, DVD and BRD, so plenty of Physical Media if/when it eventually goes away digitally. It\'s actually nice that of all the Transformers Movies in existence, 8 of the 9 are all on VUDU. Of course , the only exception being the BWII Movie, which I previously had on VHS, but now have an HD fansub RiP of, will probably not see a NA release anytime soon, still glad to have it though.

I actually have every series on DVD, except for the more recent ones that have no physical media release. For fans of RiD/Car Robots that don't want to spend a ton on tracking down long OOP R2 DVD from the UK, there is a nice inexpensive DVD set from Singapore that occasionally shows up on eBay for about $20. (And is legit, not a pirate copy) It is well worth the funds. Or of course, it is free to watch on Youtube also (Both the Car Robots version fansubbed and RiD).

I wish Disney would take the stick out and just release it on DVD, but the best we can eventually hope for is for it to show up on D+ someday as they have expressly stated they are out of the physical media business with the exception of their tentpole films each year.

The DVDs/BD removed the "Sheeeeeeeet". But on streaming sites can do their own censorship if they want.

    Typo on my part.:banghead:

It should have read VHS versions removed the Oh sheeeeeeeeeeeeet. The DVDs/BD did not remove...........The 2007 SONY DVDs I own restored the expletive. The SHOUT! BD also retained the sheeeeeet!

Streaming services CAN just do anything and censor the videos from their streaming site. Same thing happened with Back to the Future #2 OoooLala segment. It was later "corrected" as a source "mistake".

Typo on my part. Lack of sleep got my hand coordination wrong. :banghead:  Gomenasai!

Didnt laugh about that my friend. I loughed about the whole premise of sitting down to edit a single expression on that movie.

I think they also uncensoresd the Kid Rhino VHS and DVD from 1999/2000.

I love my BluRay, but I still think the best presentation is the Sony Full Screen DVD followed very closely by the Hill Crane Laserdisc then Pioneer Laserdisc.

Apple typically upgrades your movies to the latest versions, so it would be a win regardless
