I haven't messed with this guy in ages. The incoming TW version had me pull him off the shelf and messing with him again - his hips and toes (he's a V1) were in desperate need of tightening, so I went to town with some varnish and he's back up and running (er, standing). Both the UT and TW version have wierdness going on in the leg area - I really wish I could graft TW's legs below the knees to UT's thighs, I feel like that would be an ideal situation, but ah well.

As an aside, I know many of you are probably like old-me in thinking that Kiki stuff that people are always going on about is just a gimmick, but it really works a treat. Especially for joints like Challenger's hips where you can't really get at and disassemble the hips to easily apply future to.

Better to use polyurethane and nothing more. I never get tired to recommend to use Polyurethane instead of floor polish, Kiki and hand mixes... It works for all my figures since years; no flakin, no cracking, barely visible...

On Reddit there's a detailed thread of composition of Kiki and it's just a lie. It's a hand-mixed solution of someone. In other words, is the same than polyurethane.

That's all well and good. Polyurethane from home depot doesn't come in a handy little bottle with a needlepoint applicator, so I appreciate the small brown bottle. :p

When I opened my first bottle of kiki I thought, “this could very well just be floor polish that someone rebottled in their garage, but dammit I like the little bottle and the convenience of this applicator.”

And yes, it works wonderfully. Maybe when it runs out I’ll just refill it with polyurethane.

Your problems fixed, you're welcome. :lol

No shame in using whatever works best for you. I was just speaking as a former skeptic that the Kiki bottle was a pretty handy and easy $10 purchase that I don't see needing to replace any time soon.

Yes, everyone is free to use what they want. Kiki is just a lie, a rebranded product. For me is like a scam and I don't want that no-one get scammed. It's just that.

It's like... If someone buys 1L of super-glue for 8$ and then sell the mini bottles of super glue mixed with thiner and rebranded as "super tighter" for 10$ each bottle. (Do even exist the word "tighter"? :lol ).

Nice bro. It's nice to know some can clarify on these products that are sold as miracles in bottle.
