Exactly. Literally the only thing he had going for him was the Italian accent. He has zero character beyond that, and could have just been Sideswipe. He even disappears for the big mexican standoff scene, and isn't around to battle sentinel either. Only Jolt is more pointless   That being said I'll still totally buy the figures of Dino and Jolt when they come out so well done Hasbro, you've got my money anyways.

 

Jolt did something, he combined Jetfire's parts with Optimus. He was Ratchet's walking defibrillator.

Let's face it, we're not buying SS because of anything like personality, we buy them because they look cool. (and well nostalgia, at least in my case!)
And now that we got the toys we can just make up our own stories.

 

I give them my own personalities that go beyond the movie. Like how Drift and Crosshairs don't like Bumblebee's leadership. Amped up to 11 in my headcanon lol

Drift and Crosshairs open displeasure of Bumblebee makes things more interesting, I think Hound was the only one who likes Bumblebee between the AOE bots before Optimus joined.

 

Does that legends class Megatron have head articulation? I can’t think of another legends figure that does.

Aside from not transforming? He soundly trounces them in articulation and sculpt. But then he really ought to given there's no gimmick holding him back, but he especially points out how pathetic the SS VW Bee was. Though I still quite love Jeep Bee, the model kit is such a perfect little VW Bee, and I should point out I haven't painted mine at all. Those are all factory paint apps, and the headlights are actually tiny 3D stickers that look great, he could only be better if the ankle assembly wasn't so harrowing. I broke one, and HIGHLY suggest softening the foot piece with hot water or blow-dryer so the ball-post from the leg can pop in easier. If I didn't have the tools and "expertise" to replace the post and ball with a metal pin, I'd have been quite fucked.
