I would try to stick with with model specific paints, i tried a cheap acrylic artist paint and it just didnt work.

I have been watching alot of modelling vids so can recommend you look at Humbrol, Revell, Vellejo, AK and Mr Hobby as manufacturers of paint.

Oh and Hataka are a new company that sell airforce/aircraft specific paint sets as well as single pots

We didn't get where we are today without having eye-catching addictions...

And get that He-Man opened! What use is a Battle Cat without the boss?! :p

@Q Prime I use acrylics and Mod Podge for small details, usually in dioramas to add colour without being standout (and the bigger the diorama...). But the surface or how much wear and tear is usually what determines their use on a figure.

Diamond Select making way better figures again that you don't need to buy in a 2 pack, entire wave, or in one particular store in deepest Hicksville.

Wheeljack is very much a don’t bother purchase unless you missed the first release or are after the Teletraan pieces (speaking of, anyone got a piece from Scrapface going spare? Lost mine)

Elita One though is great, the mould isn’t that great to transform due to the kibble but the robot can do poses even MP engineering struggles to provide. Heck, Elita can pose better than the Power Rangers Lightning Collection figures can in a lot of ways. As a fandom Transformers fans are truely spoilt when it comes to design

Oh cool. I haven't seen any of the kingdom beasties reviews so wasn't sure. Looks like BA will be on the list.

Cheers. She's still in hospital and they've upped her painkillers, but other than being very weak and tired, she's doing better. Hopefully can come home tomorrow.

I should have at least one Scrapface piece. I’ll have a look.

    So, Amazon ridiculousness.

Remember I complained to them about them sending the Autobot Alliance without a shipping box and it turned up a bit crushed?

Remember how they gave me a refund with absolutely no struggle?

Well, now they’re asking me to return the whole thing - despite me telling them I didn’t want to return it as I doubted their ability to replace it, and there being absolutely no mention of a return in their initial email...

    Fucking cretins.

Did that to me before, just say what you've said here, mine was an automated email saying we still haven't received your item though.

We are like Badger and Skinny Pete, just waiting for that next fix the whole time denying it. I’m having the same dilemma with whether to free He-Man from his plastic prison!

@doucoo LOVE the centurions display, was very fond of them in my childhood.... probably showing my age here but by God were we blessed as children in the 80s, all these fantastic franchises and great toys to boot.

Plus the adventure of a Menzies/Toys R Us/Woolies search and that excitement of seeing that character you loved on a shelf, in the ‘flesh’ and all that anticipation of opening and playing.

It’s nice to see he’s now taking the time to show us the packaging.
It’s like saying yeah I picked this up legitimately and it not factory floor lost and found.

Just done my first Comics and Cocktails cancellation. Didn't realise about the non refundable deposit being charged, even if you paid in full. Still worth it in this case, but good to know in the future.

Hmmm their terms and conditions are interesting...

Yes they say 10% of whatever the price of the item is non-refundable when cancelling...

But if you let them deliver the item you can return it for a full refund if you pay postage? So if an item is worth more than £40 you might as well let them deliver it and then send it back... especially as they still have to pay the postage.

    Very strange...

I appreciates the offer, though :)

    ----

WFCT Jackie looks a bit strange with him being grey plastic that they painted especially on his instep of the foot - but I actually kinda liked it on the WFCT Sideswipe - it make him look grungy (in a good way) so I may like it here too (assuming Smyths make it possible to actually buy the things).

Looks like Elita-1 would benefit from one of those alternative colour Arcee weapon sets on eBay

    ----

Some front page ebay.co.uk deals that might be of some use to some (since a legit Scrapmetal is hard to get now)
KO Scrapmetal : £13.59 with a voucher code "Picsmallbiz"
Transformers Decepticons Scrapmetal Studio Series | eBay

POTP Leader Optimus £27.99 with a voucher code "Picksmallbiz"
Transformers Leader Optimus Prime 630509620777 | eBay

Both of them located in the UK.

    INFO :
Enter code at checkout to redeem. Hurry, your voucher expires 31/12/20. Terms and conditions apply.
    PICKSMALLBIZ

Might be worth browsing the categories - I used the same deal before to get 20% off my POTP Hungrr and Elita-1 - so there is the odd Transformers deal under this occasional support small business promotion.

Me shoving my hoard of Micromasters on that one bookshelf into my Legends tub after having to dust 'em all. OOF!
Now it's down to Shockwave, the MFT Camera Bros, the core OG1 Soundwave Tape crew + Ratbat Vs. TR Blaster and the IF Steeljaw & Ramhorn.
Omega Supreme, Exhaust & Rotorstorm have been reboxed for now until next playtime too, as I gradually work my way from obvious functional robotoholic to functional robotoholic who's hiding it better! :p

Is it just me or do WFC figures attract dust like no other line? Like I've any amount of Lego, other figures, model kits... Dust sticks to the TFs like incompetence to a politician.

Probably the first time he has packaging to show off.

So, was going to have a little break from Ducktales today, but instead watched the first three peisodes of S3. And what started as a fun little easter egg turned into...... yeah...... those of you who've seen episode 3 know what I'm talking about.

It's nice that Fasttrack has that spear mode, but it looks more like Scorponok is waving a magic wand around, so I don't think he's going to be in spear mode again.

Always nice to have shows which are just FUN to watch. MLP started out as that for me in a very trying time in my life :)

Also, cool custom you got there! :thumb

Eek, I'd been on the fence about Kingdom Megs and that's put me right off. Given BA turns into a bug with an exoskeleton there's not much in the way of flesh. Fingers crossed they don't pull similar rubberness for Airazor or Tigertron...
