Some people have this set already WTF! BBTS is so slow. TCP already has it in stock as well as Showz I believe.

Does blackout's hands store anywhere?

 

Yup they and all the accessories store really nicely in alt mode. Hand 1 is under the rotor, hand 2 right below.

Do you HAVE to remove blackout’s hands for transformation? Cause if so then the shockwave labs hands will stay cause those don’t have to be removed.

 

I'm curious to know, too, because I'm really only interested in this set for the hands and that's a deal breaker.

This set is currently sitting in my POL at BBTS, but I'm waiting to ship it until at least one other DNA Studio Series set drops. The DOTM Optimus Prime kit, which was announced / dated earlier, still hasn't dropped.

You do have to remove the hands for transformation but theirs a way to store them. I don’t mind personally cuz I don’t transform my Blackout often & I don’t mind Parts Forming.

 

Just got this set and its really nice.

I am having issues with the ankle parts for Bee. Are they supposed to grab into anything? They don't seem to and just fall out

 

I'm using the shield from this kit but not the rest of the stuff for sentinel, since I've had a 3D printed upgrade kit for a while. It's a nice looking and well-designed shield.

 

Feel like I'm late on the bandwagon, yet there aren't many posts here?

So Blackout's hands are the real highlight of the set. Individually articulated fingers and a rotating wrist is sooooo much better than the stock muppeteer set.




The other stuff is neat, too. Love the color matching!


I prefer practicality of the original's tail rotor being the hand-buzzsaw over the weird (but screen accurate) mini-main-rotor. Plus, I think to store it requires unfolding the entire copter tail in robot mode, so it's easier just keeping it on the arm as it is, although this means Blackout can't use the two guns. Good thing they're universally compatible!

Sentinel Prime gets some cool toys, too! Deviates from the stock colors, though I'm not really complaining there.


Damn, what a difference! To think I wasn't even interested in the new swords at first.


And of course...



I gotta say, while I bought this set mostly for Blackout's hands, I think Sentinel got the better set. Copter-Con has one really cool thing and a bunch of amusing extras, while Traitor Prime's are all amazing improvements.




Also, parts I can't use with anything. Meh.

 

Guy had this kit for 30$ with no sentinel prime upgrade but idc Bc I wanted this for him

 

Really want the blackout parts of this set... Le sigh.

 

Do those parts work on Grindor as well ? or does the color not match , parts not work ect ?
