Wow I hope they change that yellow paint on Bumblebee to closer match the yellow plastic. The plastic has a warm tone while the yellow paint had a cooler tone and they don’t match. The yellow paint matches the Beetle version, reminds me of the scene where Carly tried teaching Bee how to hide.

 

Eh... barricade is honestly the better choice, especially since sideways looks more barricade than he does mirage.

 

It would only be fair if they just paint Dino gray and put a new head on and just call him Sideways, too.

 

No, I think he would have a new mold since the only reason they shared a mold in the first place was because of licensing issues (which have now been side stepped)

 

I went ahead and preordered both Bee and Dino since I passed on SS Cliffjumper after being on the fence with it for quite a while. I'm hoping that in-hand I'll be more impressed with these two (I'll have a few months to decide anyway) because as of right now, they don't look amazing to me, but they don't look horrible either. The Deluxe Price tag certainly helps their case but I'll reserve full judgement until I have them in hand because its never too late for the final product to be different from the images online.

We'll see!

Am I the only one expecting Dino to be retooled into ROTF Sideways?

 

I know many stores have these listed for May and some for July. But I noticed one Canadian store that says they will have it March. Don't know if I should risk it.

 

The only place you get items early, and the dates are legit, is CMDStore out of Montreal. He's been on the up and up each and every time, when it comes to release dates, but you pay a hefty price sometimes.

 

Yep, that's the store I was talking about. Thinking about ordering a Dino to see if I can get it early. But I never heard of this place.

 

I've used their services multiple times. They're legit. He's also known as DDMark on eBay. (eBay pricing is higher, sometimes much higher.)

 

So I should give it a try and hope they do have Dino early. If so, I'll put the order in now and cancel my other order.

 

I wouldn't cancel anything, just yet. Cover all your bases, never do what you're about to do. It's better to have a backup, always.
