Well I bit the bullet and ordered the game. Looking forward to being Spiderman again. Well more specifically Miles but still.

I know this is a Miles Morales thread, but I figured I'd ask here since you guys would know.
I'm playing SM for the 1st time and I see that the DLC missions are playable after I've upgraded my suit. Are there any bonuses/upgrades (besides exp) from those that'd help with the main game or should I just put those off till endgame?

 

For Story wait to finish the main game then do dlc

 

Alright, cool. So theres no x4 EXP mod (or anything) that'll unlock for completing any of those DLCs?

 

No all you get is extra tokens for leveling up things.

I personally thought the DLCs were eh but if you're up for things like villain hideouts or web-swinging challenges then it's good the game has you covered.

Though, there are some awesome suits you can try to get like this one:

 

This game is pretty cool so far, although I'm kind of tired of beating up common thugs. There are so many combos that I sometimes have to look at the controller to pull them off. The only thing I can get without looking is the finisher.

 

So a few things... They polished up the map of Manhattan and one of New York's iconic landmarks all of a sudden is gone.

On a side note, there were good changes l noticed from the last game in terms of the map such as the Fisk construction sites being actual buildings now.

Him and mj have to leave the country for a few weeks something peter did in the marvel team up comics. He trusted miles could watch things. Plus dr strange and avengers are there but miles never asks them for help in the game nor do they show up!

 

MJ is covering a story about the civil war in Sarkovia (Silver Sable's home country and was touched on in the original game's DLC) and requested Peter as her photographer.

 

Got it Weds and played it on and off till tonight when I beat it. Still lots of collectibles but seems a bit shallow for the $50 price tag. I would have been fine with $20-$25 but as it is I really don’t feel it was a day one purchase.

 

I'm taking my time with this and really enjoying it, i do a story mission then clear out all the side missions unlocked then do another story mission, repeat. it's well worth the $20 i paid for it.
