Dude, I am resisting the urge to Preorder SS on account of how there's like a 700% likelihood there will be a Skywarp repaint. I sure hope I'm right. BBBB (henceforth B4/4B?) is a repaint of the Ciffjumper mold. It's a fine mold but I'm always afraid my banana hands are gonna break it, so the Jaundice GorgeHopper will be a pass for me. Dino will need to be reviewed because...I have questions.

Popfindr said Fairview Heights Target had Runabout so I went to check. It wasn't on the pegs; I asked someone and they said the street date was December 1st.
As expected. They would say the same thing about Leadfoot when he came out. I suspect some employee with throw them out who either doesn’t care or didn’t know about the date.

Runabout is absolutely beautiful in person. For a few joyful minutes, I was separated from him by a mere shell of thin cardboard and transparent plastic... ...and then I reached the checkout lane, and discovered, much to my horror, that I was tragically separated from him by a street date as well. The power struggle pitting the stockers (who put the toys on the shelves for our ravenous consumption) against the managers (who valiantly seek to avoid the fiscal consequences were contracts broken) is all too real, my friends. It is being played out every day in stores all around us. O, the pain suffer'd by we who were too old for Transformers when first they appear'd on shelves and yet with reckless abandon threw ourselves into starting collections! Ah, the cruelty of HasTak for producing such works of art yet never in quantities sufficient to sate the desires they themselves have implanted in our minds! [/MELODRAMA] It's the kind of thing that can really dampen one's enthusiasm for the hobby. And for the cherry on top, now I need to find and purchase Runamuck on the off chance that I can still find a Runabout on the pegs once Target is willing to sell him.... Incidentally, I would rate the color palettes on the WFC Battlechargers as maybe only 90% as good as TFCC's versions: Timelines Runamuck's cream with tangerine and Over-Run's dark charcoal with crimson look better to me than white with gold (ho-hum) and black with red (still beautiful, but...not quite there). I experienced the same thing at Kirkwood Target earlier this week. I looked up Runabout on the helpful touch screen near the TF section and it showed 8 in stock in the back. I asked for an employee and asked if I could get one and she went back and got it. It was in my HANDSSSSS. Alas, the self-checkout wouldn't let me buy it due to the street date. They said they'd hold it for me, so at least I know exactly when and where to go for it
