The clear ones are different tints too tho

 

I was thinking the same thing, I thought the idea was to have the flight stand not be as visible, hence making it clear. Seems like blue is going to really stand out and draw attention away from the figure.

I'm trying to replace the few Takara figures I have with FT versions

 

At this point I’m mainly a Fans Toys collector with some bonus TT, XTB etc. I’d probably just run out of interest without FT in the game.

 

Then i drop transformer collecting and go back to collecting Soul of Chogokins.

 

I love their megazords

 

Ahh, Tydirium Hanger. I do watch a lot of his videos and he's gotten a lot more professional editing in the past couple of years. But it looks like he's in the same spot as Bobby Skullface and some other reviewers. Things seem to be a little slow, but they need to churn out videos to keep their subscription numbers high and keep the review copies coming from their retailers. Therefore we get these videos musing on "what if ..", but then they do clarify that they really don't have any evidence that Fanstoys/Zeta/XTB are really shutting down. Just filler and fan philosophizing. Tydirium Hanger does include a lot of comparison videos showing different brands' Springer/Arcee/Astrotrain next to one another which is helpful when I'm trying to judge which to buy. I don't always listen to the reviewers' opinions, but do like to see the comparisons. Seeing Spacetron next to Thomas is hilarious and killed any idea that I could settle for Zeta's offering.

Of course, I've yet to get my hands on any FansToys figures. I keep on offering halfway between the original price and what e-Bay sellers are asking for. Someone must be buying these things at 100% mark-up which isn't helping.

 

Aliexpress has good prices for the last couple FT figures just not Thomas, Quietus, Apache or sought after figures

 

I've checked Aliexpress and they don't seem to be any better than e-bay/Show.z or some of the other sellers here on the trade forum. Jabber and Koot are the two I'm looking for right now as they both started off about $110 last year. Aliexpress and others are all around $210 for Jabber and $185 for Koot. There are some sellers here on the forum that are a bit higher. It looks like Koot has been issued 3 times in the past 4 years, so not sure if he will pop up again. But Jabber looks like he's only had one release and I saw complaints about fragile joints. Maybe he'll come out again in 2021 with some minor tweaks. I saw the note about no new color schemes for Blurr, but at least a second issue would be nice. Maybe close to the $105 I see him "sold out" for on the big US sites.

It looks like "Big Cannon" will remain my Galvatron for quite some time.

 

Their Voltrons were amazing. I never thought they would do both of them.

 

got Koot 125 euro and Sovereign 210 euro on 11.11 (I forget the prices I pay look expensive in USD  )

 

at this point, i just mainly care for Fans Toys, and not all of them. There is also some OM Tapes i guess.

In order of importance:

1) Smokey
2) Spindrift 2.0

3) Bandit
4) Trailbraker
5/6) Soundwave / Blitzwing

That said, as i was already done at Beachcomber, i am ok, and heck, even managed to get Astrotrain. So whatever happens, i am ok. Getting Smokey and Spindrift 2.0 would just be super fantastic really wants, and the rest in my list, not as important, but cool extras for me.

I cant wait for blitzwing but I wonder when they'll release it. It seems like fanstoys is keeping their cards close to their chest for some weird reason
