Personally, I would take Legends any day, but I do like some elements, especially the heads. I'll admit that Psylocke looks great! Would love to mix Legends and Mafex but my OCD kicks in.

Mafex just look so weird to me. Their Spider-Man had metallic paint, which doesn't make any sense whatsoever. It also doesn't help that I'm not a fan of the costume they chose to use. Wolverine looks really odd to me with the way they did his upper body.

Villain. They were the inspiration for The Foot from TMNT.

I've got MAFEX Cyclops and I replaced Hasbro's Jim Lee Cyke with it. They work fine together. MAFEX Cyke blows Hasbro's out of the water in terms of a dedicated sculpt with leg straps that won't fall down if you look at them wrong ...not to mention properly placed on the legs... and plenty of accessories. On the other hand he's got a well known QC issues where the smoke effect visor comes stuck in the alt head and is a bitch to remove. So much so that most people I know have actually broken the smoke effect getting the visor off and have had to reglue it. MAFEX unfortunately as a line is riddled with QC issues like this and makes them feel less premium then their prices would suggest. Like, Cyke honestly feels more like a $30 to $40 figure and not the $75 I paid (and if you get them from a US seller they're even more expensive). So, pros and cons. Given that Cyke will probably be the only Marvel MAFEX I pick up since I find the majority of Hasbro's offerings as far as Legends go either more accurate (Venom and Wolverine's height) or good enough that I don't feel the need for a "premium" version.

Yup. I like Mafex at like $35. $40 tops. They aren't $100 figures.

I think Hasbro slaughters their SW stuff with the Black Series also. At a quarter of the price.

So I didn't see the HoX stuff until I looked on Fwoosh this morning.

Depressing to see another Cyclops on that old-ass buck, but I've been waiting for a good costume of his, so I'll out him on the list. Looks like I'll have to keep waiting for a good costume of Jean.

Wolverine looks fine. Surprised they decided to change anything from the original mold.

I wonder if it’s a scalper return. Doesn’t seem to be going for much on eBay.

Hmm. I might get Jean from HoX. I’m surprisingly unenthused. Wolverine could be an impulse buy if I’m desperate for a plastic crack fix. I don’t have any interest in the others. I’m also skipping the Stilt-Man wave. money saved, which is good since Hasbro is hitting it out of the park with Transformers lately.

Yep. Also, the ooze that mutated the turtles and Splinter was meant to be the same chemicals that splashed Matt Murdock in the face.

He talked about it in the press conference I covered with him at Denver Comic Con a few years ago how they were expecting Marvel to sue them for it, but went with the joke to see what would happen. :lol

Yeah. That's what I keep seeing but none of mY Walmarts have her. Fortunately, a guy on Toyark picked one up on for me, so that was great of him. I've got some pics a few pages back.

Yeah I knew they had parodied the wackiness of the comics at the time but I never knew to what extent, and yeah the only reason I didn't buy one is bcuz I knew you got yours pages ago

It was actually easy since it looks like they’re just repainting the 2019 X-Force mold but giving it a new head and belt(the gloves and boots look a little different but that could just be the render making it harder to see the softer/subtler details). Wouldn’t be surprised if we get it repainted as the Astonishing X-men version eventually, especially due to the new head sculpt with the shorter mask ears.
