Im all for a nonliscensed dino. But a fair question, why was Ferari Dino ever okayed for the film if an accurate toy was never an option?

 

Because Paramount and Bay couldnt give a rat's ass about the toys, they wanted a movie with sexy cars and big name appeal

I just don't like Tigertrack. He's just completely boring to me visually. I'm not sure why though, I think the other Sideswipe redecoes look fine enough. Something about him just looks uninteresting. I think it might be the colors.

 

Same reason Sideways was an Audi R8 and in RotF for 30 seconds.

 

I think he would have looked better with a G2-esque tiger print pattern instead of just ‘yellow sideswipe’.

 

I thought so initially but once I had him in hand he just popped and I loved him, despite this being my fourth version of the mold. I don't know how but he felt like his own character.

 

Siege and Earthrise, as good as they might be, are a bit overrated, but I think that happens a lot due to recency and whatever is considered fashionable at a set point in time.

 

Would he look better? Probably, but that takes away from why Tigertrack is a thing: to homage the Diaclone

 

I like it for that reason, and it has convinced me that the color swap was the right choice. Sideswipe/Lambor just works better in red.

Believe me, I know. I have a few Ferrari branded items that are worth more than their non-Ferrari branded Counterparts. I'm not a casual on the matter and I understand the Il Commendatore's point of view. That aside, I rather for them to do the Skyfire/Jetfire way of doing things than "Dino" toy looking not like Dino animated character.

I am willing to drop $90 on a Transforming Ferrari, because that's what we do. (Although I would think it is cheap compared to the Chevy Aveo Transformer)

Maverick looks great in jet mode and the weathering looks like weathering

 

Being able to see Optimus' Matrix through his chest windows in either mode looks awful.

 

Those are some of most acceptable photos of Maverick I've seen. If the inside of the cockpit was painted so it didn't look like the exact same plastic as the rest of the jet, it could actually look ... good.

 

Yeah, even officially (with shows, movies, etc.) he has a cover over the Matrix itself so it can't be seen if he opens his chest windows.
