Does she have high heels? The alt one has them, original toon color doesn't.

 

That’s a nice score. I consider either version to be better than all the other options, including the official, but the original is much harder to find now. And probably a hair better than the A as far as cartoon accuracy.

 

It’s a great figure, and I think either version beats the competition.

I added some eyeliner with a Gundam marker. She’s wearing the smirky face which comes with the darker pink version of the figure

 

This is the best Arcee figure out there, official and unofficial. Fact. Unfortunately I'm a scale nazi and she has always been a head too short for how I envision my S3 bots. However I enjoy every picture posted of her.

 

Did anyone ever figure out some interchangeable hands for Azalea? the default grip hands do seem to hinder her just a bit.

I'm not really following that line of logic----is Lazy Aza saying that something like a modified Nautica or Velocity (Chromia, Firestar?) mold, would make a better Animated Dragstrip, than Arcee's mold would?

That's kinda like saying a recolored Sky Dive mold would make a better Thundercracker, than a Starscream mold would.

The only way I see this making sense/being a better option, is if there's an Animated Arcee mold coming. But that seems pretty unlikely. IMHO.

 

I did... replacement GunPla hands I bought from HLJ. Never got around to painting them. I'll figure out which ones and get some pics up here.

 

Oh I don't like the idea of just slapping dragstrip colors on a g1 arcee in the first place. It was a fun idea for the original animated toy at the time but the concept of a gender flipped Stunticon is so rad I'd rather it be explored further on something more ambitious with the tooling options for a more fully realized alt mode especially.

 

I see---you like the idea of female Dragstrip, as a "fully fleshed-out concept", and not just a quick Arcee repaint.

(I really like the idea of it just being an in-universe quick Arcee repaint----following along the lines of the comic, that they kind of had to "use what was available", and that Dragstrip is annoyed at now looking like Arcee)

 

I'd buy a whole line of altverse figures of gender-reversed characters (Elita Prime, Megatronia, Starstream)

 

Man i hope for an Elita 1 now. Just got done looking at the earthrise version and walked away feeling sick after seeing she is a shellformer.

 

Has anyone gone through the process of repainting the/an entire figure? Want to do the stealth azalea colors (since she's super expensive and will continue to be out of my price range) and plan to keep her in bot mode only. (big wish: anyone that has a stealth azalea they want to part with that won't cost me an arm and a leg I'll take it, scratches/damage and all)

 

Does anyone have her next to the earthrise one? I would like a comparison pic if possible.
