Great job on Dino! He looks pretty good. Cant wait to see the twins and Jolt. Need to finish up ROTF bots.

 

Kinda silly how Bee and Starscream come with the same backdrop but whatevs.

I'm curious to see Mirage / Dino's alt-mode. It'd be a tad silly if he kept that dopey name but didn't actually transform into a Ferrari.

 

Now we just have Jolt, Rotf Sideswipe, and Grindor left. 
now the question is how the realease slate will turn out for the Standard SS movieverse line now that the 86 subline is taking the Early 2021 slate with 2 more waves of the 86 subline most likely hitting the same slates as the movieverse lineups for Wave 11 and 12  


86 Sub: Wave 1 early 2021 
Wave 11 mid 2021 (assuming 86 Sub wave 2 realeases) 
Wave 12 late 2021  (assuming 86 Sub Wave 3 realeases) 
 

 

Dino's alt mode reminds of his Dark of the Moon video game alt mode.

 

Okay, the alt-mode isn't terrible. It's not film accurate, but it'll do. He looks pretty good, actually. Shame about the backpack, though. Gosh, it's massive.

 

He might be a pretool for Sideways, hence the slightly more boxy look (ofc for legal reasons too)

 

Will there be any differences between them? Or just new paint and head and called it a day

 

That explains the toys, but IIRC he's also Mirage in the DOTM video game.

Again, my statement was in reference to him doing stuff. I don't count him simply driving through a scene for visual eye-candy, since you could remove him from the scene and literally nothing changes.

Uh, no, because Chernobyl is literally in the film as where they first encounter Shockwave, his worm, and find the Ark fuel cell with the implication that was what caused the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster. To say nothing of how utterly inaccurate the depiction of Chernobyl in the film (or the book for that matter) compared to the real life location.

The illegal nuclear facility that NEST Attacks, the one I was referring to earlier, at the beginning of the film was in Iran.

Dino looks great and only how many years late? But anyway, these all look fine and I'm looking forward to Dino the most. Now to decide whether to part with my Alien Attack version??

 

Well I'll be, they actually packaged it up as his Cybertronian designation.

Which raises some questions, as everybody else had their names while still on Cybertron. So why was Bee the only one with a designation rather than a name. Sure he got renamed on Earth, but it's sorta funny that no one else is "P-8675" or something.

Funny enough if I buy Dino it’s for the alt mode. Love how it looks once I forget it’s an unofficial Ferrari.

 

It looks close enough to give the “feel” of the vehicle I guess

As far as fake car modes go it's not the worst.

Do wish he was a real Ferrari, though.
