I finally transformed MPM Ironhide into truck mode. It was... well, let's just say this post was almost in the BST forum. Yikes.

 

It does get better with subsequent transformations, but it never feels like it's 100% there. You just kinda wrestle with it until you can get it close enough.

 

Flames for what? There are stickers that add flames to the turbines of the jetpack.

 

This is gonna look great in conjunction with the DNA upgrade set!

 

Most fortunate to have a whopping 75% discount. How come they can pull that off? Where do the margins go? Or is the cost of megatron actually 10% of the retail price??!!

 

Post typhoon general cleaning.
The top-most boxes got dusted with ceiling dirt, I'm contemplating whether I should store my SS figures in their boxes then placing them all in large plastic boxes like my other 3p stuff.

I'm planning on storing them in their respective boxes using either plastic coated wires or paper twine (like back in HFTD) any idea which is better? Is it also wise to add silica gels during storage?

 

Wow that's a lot of boxes (then again I keep my SS boxes too)
My fam said my my collection is okay although I'll have to take a closer look when I get home!

There are some for the Jetpack, but I was looking for flames on Prime himself. The shoulder pads, legs, the doors on the robot mode chest, things like that. Some for the alt. mode as well. They did that for the SS-05 kit, but I think those would look out of place on DOTM Prime’s brighter colors.

I’m trying to stop spending money on SS but hasbro keeps revealing characters I love. Dino looks very nice and I’m happy cybertronian bee comes with his mask

Ok being serious, Dino does look pretty sweet, even if his door wings are a bit too big.

Hard to make out all the details from the photo but Dino looks amazing! So crazy to think that we have a Dino toy after all these years. Nearly 10 years after DOTM came out he finally has a real deluxe toy.

You're absolutely right. I'm not sure how I forgot about those details. The Studio Series Primes have all been lacking in those flames and I think I've spend so much time looking at them that I've forgotten what the actual CGI model had in terms of flames.

 

I think literally everyone will only want Dino
