1/100 Calamity? Then is there hope for Forbidden?! I don't collect 1/100 but I would so love to see a Forbidden and Raider get this treatment. Is Sword Calamity a possible future? Although it might be P-Bandai...
It is all inevitable. Size and space issue? or you just needed the perfect excuse to try the larger scale.
I have it, but I can't tell you much about it. It never changed position in my backlog since I got it... "Soon, but not now". You know, this todo list ranking... Anyway, I was really interested in the combining with an action figure gimmick...
Excited by the MG Virtue reveal! It was always my favourite 00 suit and the one remaining S1 00 Gundam that needs a MG release. Also interested by the RG Wing and Ni-Nu and the new SD Gundams look pretty cool too. Sadly nothing else that I'm really interested from the reveals which saves my wallet I guess. Haha.
I feel so relieved! Because if that’s the case, I can get the either the Dom and Rick Dom easily and take my time! Gundam kits on the whole are easily available in my part of the world.
meanwhile, me trying to figure out how much shipping is for these three stores to the US since all Japan has rn is DHL:
I'm just so happy cause this hopefully opens the window for NG 1/100 Forbidden and Raider. And hopefully the RE 1/100 Reborns when these mad men are done those. But yes, MG Exia 2.0 would be lovely. I think I'd rather be strapped down to a chair having to watch Gundam F90, Gundam Reconguista in G and Gundam Seed Destiny all in one sitting then have the stress of ordering from multiple Manda locations XD
Took me long enough, but I wanted to give the chrome on the piston rod ample time to dry, so I could paint acrylic around them. Now I can get about assembling the arms. The talons are a little loose, but I can dab some Pledge in the joint space to fix it later. Painting the undersides and joints makes a modest difference and I like it. Cleaning up the panel gaps down the sides and the indents, I even took an extra minute to paint the wrist joints ...which I should have done BEFORE assembling... but, it's done! Arms attached, hands set in the wrists... now the fun part to finish the hands... The knuckle grind! Paint in the joint spaces, poster tape on a popsicle stick helps make a temporary support between coats. Tonight's bonus round included painting the knuckles for the GM Dominance, the eventual next kit to finish another night.
You forgot price point. (Looks up at Halden's latest post) That one? Eh, gotta disagree if that's the case. Of the notable forms of Felini's Wing I still like the Rinascita more than whatever was done to the RG Wing.
Thanks for the preview, I didn't expect it to be that complete. This PG is still a pass for me, I have none, and (as said above about MG), I don't think I have the space and money now... And to my humble impression, I think some details are not that premium regarding the ambition of this model kit (and non posable hands !). Anyway, the core fighter is really cute, the RGB gimmicks seem very well done, pistons on head and wrists are nice touches, and the knee pannels with pistons beneath are really gorgeous. I stop here before I finally begin to try to preorder it.
Gundam Expo is quickly covered, and the interesting stuff begins at 03:04 : RG Zeong unboxing, built + quicky reviewed ! Seems magnificent !
Am I the only one who really wants a new kit of the original Nu Gundam design? It's pretty cool and really unique. I like the 1/144 scale. It fits into that sweet spot of 3 3/4, Legends, and other smaller-sized figures. Now, I have been looking for an excuse to get into RGs; I'm not willing to drop $60 on the Zeong or $50 on the Sazabi, so not many of them interest me at the moment. But a Dom... sounds epic. I'd prefer a Gyan, but that's not what was teased.
