I can’t speak about Transformers directly as I only recently started collecting again after a 10 year hiatus but... Walgreens has definitely taken down pages for Funko and marvel legends exclusives between restocks. I wouldn’t expect Bluestreak to be any different. I’d be extremely surprised if he wasn’t back up before Christmas.

 

Thank you, good to know. I feel like with Christmas its imminent for a restock, but I didn't know if the web page being removed is normal. Next time I'll be sure to grab one online, I just took a hiatus from the boards when it was available and missed out

I found a couple at my local walgreens today. Does anyone know if theres a trick to get everything together in alt mode? the feet and canopy just dont seem to want to hold their proper place, like they didn't give them enough room to slot in fully

 

If he's closed knee, he'll never properly close. If he's opened knee (small tabs on the roof are dead giveaway) then he will. Sounds like you got the former, instead of the latter.

 

yeah it seems so. I broke the stupid peg on his feet trying to get him to close properly. ah well. I'll use him as a head replacement for Siege Bluestreak and hunt down an open knee version

 

I believe that is only an overseas release, I have not seen anyone that bought one at Walgreens that had that difference.

 

Is there any visual comparisons between open and closed knees? I want to be sure if it\'s the figuers fault or my fault that I can\'t keep everything together.

 

I got mine at a Walgreens in the US with open knees but he didn't have the tabs in his roof. I thought open knees were normal since both my Prowl and Smokescreen have them (also both have roof tabs) and I got Bluestreak last.

 

Finally got one today, and the effing windshield hinges break off before I can even finish transforming it for the first time...what a piece of junk...I didn't have this issue with Smokescreen or Prowl...now I get to hunt for another and I'll have to live with not being able to transform it. I hate exclusives...toy collecting isn't supposed to be stressful...why do they intentionally make collectors jump through hoops to buy their product...I stopped collecting GIJoes because of this crap, and it's starting to look like I need to get out of Transformers collecting if they make things any worse.

 

Saw BS in large numbers at two Walgreens - one's entire stock was the closed knees version and the other had nothing but the open knees version.

Man, I love the figure but the QC is something else. My copy has open knees, but there was so much flash left on some parts that things wouldn't line up, the tab that secures his car hood to his abs in robot mode didn't fit, and one of the tabs that hold his arms in place in car mode snapped right off the first time I transformed him from car to robot mode.

Luckily the tab for the arm being gone doesn't seem to affect structural integrity in either mode. The mold flash and ab-tab were fixed easily enough with an xacto knife but that's not something I should ever have to do just to get the dude to fit together.

I'd probably be more upset if he wasn't the best looking use of this mold. Visually, he's just really slick, and his proportions jive so much better with me than the siege version.
