Here are a few photos demonstrating how Deadend attaches to the arm of Menasor. I'm sure many already know this but for those that don't I am posting this.

 

How much can you bend Menasor's elbow with the car attached?

 

I don't know the exact angle, but because he has that huge double-jointed elbow piece that adds more than a 1 inch gap between the two car halves, you can get a very significant bend.

 

Here is your answer to the elbow bend range.

 

I have 5 XTB Stunticons and the 3 FT ones but I keep coming back to this thread. Looks great.

 

Probably a silly question at this point, but after dumping the last year of posts on the DX9 Weibo page, and nearly 2 years on the Unique Toys Weibo, has there been any updates elsewhere from either company lately? I figure given past experiences they're probably doing more work on the Newage end and reissues, but aside from G2 Montana, feels like there hasn't been much down the DX9 or UT pipelines?

 

UT is done, as a company, after their upcoming Galvatron release.
Not sure what is going on with DX9.

 

Yeah, I recall that, but assumed it was a bit of a silly gesture, really. Still, between Giuliano and Nero, really hoping to hear ANY news at this point.

 

I’ve got the xtb ones and am still waiting for the trailer. I’ve got the dx9 ones too and they are a lot more fun to fiddle with than xtb. Frankly I’m just holding on to the xtb in case dx9 doesn’t finish or in case their menasor really impresses me.

 

Don’t have proof but one of the Aussie retailers says his supplier said end of this month for drag strip, although he expects Christmas New Years and CNY to push that back

And yes I realise now that sounds now I’ve read it again!

Thanks! The double jointed elbow is one of my favourite things about this combiner, one of the best ways to take advantage of having a separate Menasor body.

 

C'mon DX9, let's get this guy finished for Xmas... This Menasor has really grown on me, and I hate seeing him incomplete.

Oh, and some way of mounting the leg cars on the front would be nice. Well, some way that doesn't involve big ol' blobs of blu-tak, anyway. Those cars are way too nice to hide round the back.

 

One Aliexpress store I followed this morning suddenly put out the pre-order of D17 Giuliano, along with other new stuffs. So maybe it is coming soon.
