So very dope. I used to try to mimic the miniature backgrounds in my back yard. There’s something timeless and endearing about a toy being a toy rather than a toy being a “collectible”.

Modern diaclone looks like G1 had a baby with Macross. Not saying that it's bad, just what it reminds me of.

 

Where did you order it? I used BBTS so I'm not so sure I'll get it that quickly (fingers crossed).

Hnnnnngh, it's like a beautiful mixture of G1, Macross, and Gundam, and I want it bad. But my heart of hearts knows I have neither the money to splurge nor the space for it...

I can so see this as a space white and blue/orange Ultra Magnus like release down the road.

 

Where are you guys ordering this sucker from? I need to order from a place that lets me fully pay it off up front because I don't like sitting on that much money reserved for a toy, and I have to pay using paypal where my own buy/sell toys money is. If I were to buy a 300 dollar figure using the card and it came out of the bank account my wife and I share, I could end up murdered.
An online store that doesn't charge tax would be preferable, but any trustworthy one that lets me pay upfront with paypal will do.

Well that's exactly who I was trying to buy from but they won't let me pay up front using paypal... Have to put in a card number apparently, and if I pay using our card it comes out of our bank account and my wife kills me in my sleep.

 

Go to the store and buy a pre-paid Visa giftcard. That way you spend cash, get a card, and wife won’t know.


Back when I was in High School and still lived with my parents, they wouldn’t let me have a Debit card despite having my own bank account and a job, so I found many work arounds.

 

I had to check again. I buy a LOT from them. Usually I just do the preorder thing and slowly pay things off. There’s a “PayPal invoice upon arrival” option... Just shoot them an email. I’m sure they can accommodate you with an early invoice.
