I finally got Astrotrain not too long ago, and aside from the knees being a bit loose, I really like him. Has some of the best detailing in the WFC line.

    Prowl finally tracked down Runamuck!!!

(and by Prowl, I mean me. And by “tracked down”, I mean “Amazon dropped off...”)

My friends, I don't have a whole lot of time to set up the background and everything anymore but here's some pics of my Fastrack. He's a Mercenary in my headspace. I really hope to see a Roller repaint in the future....oooohhhh SG Roller.

Simpler explanation is that it's including a redeco of Doubledealer's rocket.

They really could have made the space base even cooler by adding the missing Astroscope - Transformers Wiki
Skylynx was suppose to come with originally.

What about when the Ratchet pictures showed Hothouse and then never came with him? It’s just showing the connectivity. (Or it’s real and we are getting it).

Welp, with BBTS dropping my Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker, that a wrap on Earthrise for me! Now I can focus on Black Series and DC Multiverse till February when its Paleotrex-oclock.

This toyline is freaking GLORIOUS. Transformers + Lego? GOAT LEVEL TOYS

It's like they took some cues from Diaclone... the modularity is getting nutty, and the ability to build super bases is just awesome. PROPS TO HAS/TAK!!!

I received a bunch of my Earthrise orders today. This includes Smokescreen, Sunstreaker , Trailbreaker, Alicon and Runnamuck.

I think they are all pretty good, with some issues, which I won't go into here, although I will likely cover them soon.

I also took photos of Smokescreen alongside my MP-17 Prowl. (I would have taken the photo with an ER Prowl imstead of Smokescreen but he hasn't arrived yet so Smokescreen will suffice being of a similar mold to ER Prowl.) I wanted to see how the similar looking figures compare between the premium Masterpiece line and Earthrise.

Interestingly, while MP-17 is a nice figure the comparisons are not always in his favour.

Basic shot of them both first. Apologies for the quality:

    IMG_20201112_132920~2.jpg

The MP is larger and understandably a bit more detailed. ER did a nice job however, even matching the main weapon.

There's one design choice in the MP I find a bit faulty however.
    IMG_20201112_133509~3.jpg
The picture isn't that clear, but do you see the part of the chest indicated by the arrows? The sides of the chest swivel. You can tighten them to the main part of the chest but then his shoulder movent been become restricted, being attached to that side of the chest.

To allow full movement you have to swivel them out a bit. But then you end up with chest gaps. Its not a big issues since this is mostly hidden in shadow under the bonnet/hood section of his chest but it seems an awkward solution.

ER figure has no such issues. Its a much simpler transformation, as expected, but it's curiously a tighter figure all round.

    Side view comparison:

    IMG_20201112_133048~2.jpg

Both have backpacks with a gap. MP's is the largest however. The ER figures gap is far smaller and everything is tighter together.

    Back view:
    IMG_20201112_131910~2.jpg
Both have major gaps in the back of their legs. Expected for the ER due to the budget, but I find this a bit shocking for the MP.

    Car modes:

    IMG_20201112_180831~2.jpg
Both pretty special. The MP transformation was quite a bit more complex as to be expected.

    View of the bottom:

    IMG_20201112_181142.jpg
Here the ER vehicle has a lot more gappage. MP does a good job filling in a lot of space.

On the other hand, you do not see so much of the bottom, if at all, displayed normally. The MP actually ends up with more kibble poking out the bottom, although it's not major. On ER it's pretty much non existent, resulting in a cleaner profile:

IMG_20201112_181518~3.jpg The MP is a lovely item however, but every bit as faulty as a lot of cheaper figures. Overall it's a bit nicer, but at the price difference?

I even considered selling this when ER Prowl arrives. I probably won't as the faults aren't major and I like the size which fits well with my MP-10 Optimus Prime. But ER holds its own very well.

To those that have the Earthrise ramp Battle Masters, how susceptible to breakage are their connection points in ramp mode? I am thinking of picking a few up somewhere along the line but I'm worried that I might accidentally break them while building my battlefield.
