Either Magnemo Machine Saurer or Diaclone Machine Dragon. One is green and one is blue, based off the clear plastic and what I think is a non white missile launcher, I think it's Machine Dragon
The one in the photo is takara's Machine Saurer, who was recolored, renamed machine dragon and put into the diaclone line as part of the Waruder invading forces
So this seems as though it reads pretty straight forward and clear at first glance but ....i'm not sure now. How do you interpret this description of the Waldaroid unit?
I take it as meaning the Waruders (Walders) are an intelligent alien species that resemble a marine organism (I think of them as being crustacean-like) and they’ve built (or were placed in) biomechanical humanoid bodies. Kind of like Krang in TMNT, but cooler. Or, as someone in this thread recently said, like Daleks in Doctor Who. I think of them as resembling crustaceans because their mechs have similar armor, claws, etc. Though I also kind of like the thought of them being more like jellyfish.
Quick question for the vets here: Whats the process for a US buyer getting items through yahoo auctions JP? Do I need a forwarding service or will they send it right the US?
"that parasitized an unknown space creature that seems to be a primitive marine life on a biomechanical body" That section to me, says Waruder is a parasitic organism that attached itself to a marine like organism that uses a mechanical body, so did the parasite infest marine like organisms that were already using mechanical suits? Or did they only add that after being infested by the parasite? It is translated so some things may be lost. It sounds as though the unknown marine like space creature using a mechanical body is 100% separate from the waruder, the waruder is the parasite and the marnine like space creature is the host which would mean that warudroids are not their true form, their true form is a parasite, although there could be a king or queen that has a true physical form
That’s how I read it as well, the parasite is separate from the marine life. I guess maybe the suit could be an AI that is parasitic to the marine life form? Maybe it uses the marine life as a battery?
You'll need a middle man / Forwarding service. Something like the below or similar. Forwarding service connecting overseas customers and Japanese online stores [tenso.com]
I read it as the marine life alien was like a parasite in the AI android body, though I do like the idea that the AI android body took in the marine life form as an organic component. The description also mentions a freezon generator power core in the chest though so I don't think the marine life form is used as a battery. The notion of the android body containing the marine life form that is itself controlled by a parasite throws in a nice inception-level twist! Can anyone on here provide a more accurate translation. I'm not relying on Google-translated text as being all that precise. Full Google-translated description of Waruderoids, for context:
My guess is that they took a robot and modified some local sea creature to act as the robot's CPU, sounds like a good way to make semi-intelligent cannon fodder.
I like that and it leaves the question of who exactly they are. If your guess is accurate I wonder if the next phases of the Diaclone Reboot story will reveal what the Waruder truly are!
Ok follow on question. In order to create a login for YahooJP it wants me to provide a phone number. But it won't take my cell phone number. Is this another aspect I need to bypass with another service? Or is this an issue with my phone/phone-plan? Edit: For Spelling
You might want to look into using From Japan (fromjapan.co.jp), they serve as a proxy for Yahoo! Japan and several other Japanese etailers. I won a Yahoo! Japan auction through them for my Tridigger and didn't have to register at Yahoo itself.
Ultimately this is my interpretation as well. There are still questions (parasites, "in space" vs. "on a planet in space", biomechanical body, etc) but at its core this simplified take seems like it represents what the description is trying to convey. Now...androids are basically robots emulating human form. Is the A.I. waldaroid battle suit 1) made in the bipedal / 2 armed image of its creators or 2) was the battle suit specifically and exclusively designed for interaction with humans and human tech (as suggested)? If it's the latter....then the original Waruder species isn't limited to a humanoid form.
Received my second Soldier type from Amaz.co.jp today. I was a little late on getting a copy from the second small TT restock but purchased one a little higher from a secondary vendor for ¥10,744. Since the package was redirected from domestic Japanese shipping it did not come in a box, instead it was in an envelop. The box inside was pretty thrashed up but it feels mighty liberating taking an empty diaclone box to the recycling bin.
Rise up higher and higher to the heavens and beyond!!! A full on TF × Diaclone story would be epic! There could be a portal that transports the TF crew to the world of Diaclone where they team up, make new mech and fight against the Waruder Decepticons etc
