If I had told past me a year ago I would be sitting at my kitchen table refreshing the stock page on the Smyths website I’d have called myself a liar.
Yet here I am playing refresh roulette trying to see which of my two closest store get Bee and Elita stock first.
It’s a crazy world.

Oh of course.   The second I start becoming interested in buying something other than robits, there’s rumblings about Trailbreaker at Smyths. Brick-built WW2 vehicles might be getting put on hold.

 

I hadn't considered it could be an 8-pack! That would fit the -1 to create surprise stock policy ideally!

 

When Smyths were getting in stock of Netflix Hotlink they had x1 at their Colchester branch. I ordered it and got the cancellation of the order from them a day or two later.

I obviously contacted the branch and asked them that surely their online system reflecting what they have in stock couldn’t possibly be wrong. I got the story theyget TFs in batches of 3. If you see 2 in stock, I would work on the basis they have the figure.

Anyway I did a drive to their Ipswich store when they had 2 showing in stock and got my Holink from there. Didn’t want to risk going to Chelmsford on having only 1 at the time.

I will be intrigued if any of you order Bumblebee and/or Elita from a branch showing 1 in stock and whether you get a result. Please let me know as it will blow out the water what the Colchester chap told me.

 

Just got the ER G2 Megs invoice from Kapow if anyone's waiting on him.

 

Just put an order in for the one at Newport, I’ll pop over after work tomorrow and pick it up.

Right I've just spoken to a friend at local Smyths.

My local has no Bumblebee, No Elita-1, 1 Wheeljack.

Each has a unique reference number, these three go 008/009/010.

She punched them into the computer and it was showing 1 in stock for all three - no differentiation on the in-store computers for the individual figures.

She did mention there are 6 figure SKU codes for each figure, but as far as the ref codes go - they're the same.

She's literally going to me on the phone "just order Bumblebee, I can see we have one in stock" - but the website doesn't reflect that, and when she walked to the aisle to check, he definitely wasn't there.

 

Bee-watch 2020

These are all the locations with Fasttracks (+4 north of the border). They mostly have a Netflix Wheeljack too. Any Bees and Elitas that Ive seen have been in these same stores, so possible that they've all had one. As someone mentioned, and I always assumed, its 8 deluxes to a case, so something doesn't add up. It's not a case of 7 FTs + 1 Netflix, as Inverness has 7FTs, an Elita and a WJ. May well have had a Bee too.

South East tomorrow i guess?!

 

I'm loving how the Smyths Netflix release or lack thereof is being tracked in here in real time with military precision, sifting through wargamed supposition & theorising, varied incoming intelligence reports, and now even a map! It's like a wartime central command!  

 

Does anyone else Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want that Optimus Prime wearable helmet/Bluetooth speaker on the front page or is it just me?
