This seems more crazy than I think it should be. If you don\'t like what Takara has done speak with your wallet. If you accept what you are getting because it\'s Takara, that is your choice and it doesn\'t do any favors to those that expect better from this company and expect more like this in the future because you are saying you are okay with this level of effort. To the rest that are truly happy with the figure, I\'m happy you have the piece that will fill the gap in your collection.
I think her design just doesnt really work as a transformer. Its iconic but it doesnt lend itself a transforming toy.
If only the ginormous backpack could be detached and replaced with a cleaner piece by 3rd party toy makers.....

I find both this figure and FansToys rouge frustratingly close to perfect. A theme I’ve noticed popping up more and more lately among the various official and unofficial masterpiece lines. The last time I saw a truly perfect official MP was probably Grapple, unofficial maybe DX9 la hire?
She can, as Soundwave's Cat has proven. There is diecast in the feet. Have a look at the photos posted. Some even believed that they were photoshopped, but they're not.
I doubt they're photoshopped but I still think we should wait until more people get their hands on her before we decide if she's back-heavy or not.
Which is funny, considering that in robot mode she looks exactly like a witch...what with a saggy, disproportionate chest and a big cape/ backpack
Seriously, were you expecting anything else? I'm sure @Dean ML wasn't. No surprise here. The legs and arms, the way they're formed, don't allow anything else than a transformation like this. And I'm positive that this transformation will also have its Masterpieces moment(s).
Nice how you can store the pistol underneath. Good use of the thumbs. Wonder if the click in or rest on top of the upper legs?
It's still a big fat nope for me... not that that is gonna surprise anyone. You can add 'to me' to the end of the following if you like. The proportions are wonky, the changes they've made to the animation model (something I'd usually welcome) are all nonsensical and unappealing, She has no 'shelf presence', there is no wow factor here, she looks awkward from almost every angle and that backpack... terrible. There's just a lack of finesse or sensibility to the design, it's a hot mess of compromises that have little to no pay off. This feels like a rerun of MP-45, certainly in the running for worst looking MP ever in my book. If this opinion offends you know where the ignore button is.
Her front torso reminds me of polygon playstation 1 and N64 graphics. But it had to be done to get a good car mode. Her backpack and face look good to me. People will recognize who she is. So that’s what counts. I’m in when the price is low
Why people keep calling it saggy when it's clearly Pear-shaped perky? you wouldn't have the breaking line on her chest that way if they were saggy.
