I believe the technical term to describe these is "MEH".

Woof. More underdetailed, badly proportioned, flat, Sunbow blech :puke:

I mean, the new MP Starscream looks absolutely embarrassingly horrible, but at least he transforms.
The R.E.D. G1s look horrible, but at least they're fully articulated.
The Super 7 figures look horrible, but at least have the charm(???) of the vintage 80s 3-3/4" action figure vibe
These look like the old HoC pvc figures blown up 3X

I just will understand the appeal of this level of fidelity to cheap, 35-year-old animation.
The entirely flat limbs just kill me. It doesn't need to have Milne-level detailing, just give me a couple etched lines so it doesn't look so incredibly cheap.

(all that said, I wish SS86 Grimlock's Dino arms looked like this, and BB's head sculpt looks sharp)

Screw statues what's the point when you can have a transformer figure that is articulate and always change a pose? I just never liked the idea of statues for transformers as they are unnecessary, but that's my opinion.

I would get the Grimlock one but that’s way more than I’m willing to pay for a plastic statue.

That Screamer's feet are INSANE, but it does make me realise that MP-52 needs marginally thicker thighs ...

Masterpiece toys Transform. And yes, I know statues aren't for everyone, that doesn't change the fact I'm not going to pay $40 for a hunk of plastic even if it does represent my favorite TF character.

These, RED line and the latest MP figures showcase everything that sucked about the artwork in the sunbow cartoon. I like the way WFC/CHUG looks like "THE CARTOON" and hate the way these look like "A CARTOON" if you understand the difference. The proportions on these suck. Bumblebees feet are huge and he has a pinhead making him look like a cone. And all that boring flat smoothness with no lines doesnt work for robots. A robot shouldnt be smooth as a baby's ass.

I don't think these are even that room accurate either because they look sloppy or a job I mean that starscream head doesn't look spot on to me.
