Had a quick look and couldn’t see this posted by anyone else.

TransArt keep pumping out the Beast Wars and I for one am delighted. This will find itself Pre Ordered straight away!

Apparently it has magnets for the guns to attach which will be a nice feature.

So this is just a retool of Cheetor, more than likely not transformable(dont see how they can get him to turn into a tape lol). Hoping these guys hit TM Megs and Rattrap soon.

Giving me flashbacks to the great X9 Ravage eBay hunts that I could never win as a broke child who just had to watch that price creep up every passing month that it didn't make its way into my collection. This is really making me want my MP Beast Wars back... hurry up legend scale figure makers.

I mentioned this in their Cheetor thread but I think it's brilliant that TransArt is tackling these non-transforming characters, and especially this one paired with their development of Transmetal Cheetor which allows them to reuse the leg sculpts since Ravage reused TM Cheetor's legs in the show.

Now that I'm more familiar with MP Tigatron, it seems like the original show also reused Tigatron's arms for Ravage. I'm not sure if that helps out TransArt in any way though.

You know what would be awesome?

If they made this AND the toy version.

Best of both worlds right there. :D

    From the Weibo chat:

    • Non transformable, will have premium paint job and extra hands
    • cost will be approx. 50 USD
    • comes with little cassette accessory
    • magnetically attached guns to hips.
    • TransArt want to make TM Megatron within a year's time.

Personally I think this is awesome. I'm more than okay for non transforming since he didn't in the show (not counting the cassette scene, that was a wink to G1) and if the budget is being moved to hands and paint, fantastic. Also... only 50 USD. Hard to complain at that price.

    My only nitpicks:

    • Head looks unfinished, maybe a bit small?
    • Those guns look way bigger and different design than I remember.

If these guys keep this up, I'm going to end up buying more figures I don't have room for.

All I want is TM Megatron to go with my Primal, but noooooooo...they just gotta tempt me with more awesome looking stuff...:throw

I Just went on to rewatch the Agenda and took some screenshots mainly because of this reveal. Yall can compare the pics/video of the figure to his on screen appearance. His guns seem to match what’s shown on screen. I hope he comes with two reprolabels for the red Decepticon and Predacon insignias.

That looks like a really cool animation accurate figure! But I think it also made me realize that I like the X9 toy better, both design and proportions wise. :lol

Haha, I just checked the price on ebay, $400 to $500. It never ends.

    Gotta agree.

You know, there's this one store that I don't buy much from and prefer not to buy from at all. Not because they're bad, nor their prices, nor their service (okay, have one negative experience now).

No, the reason is that many of the figure I've bought from them I've come to regret. Regret because in the end my plans changed (Classics instead of MP, or a different line up of characters) or simply because a better figure has come along.

Guess what, earlier this year I bought the MMC Ravage from them to use as BW Ravage in my collection....:(
