my gf works at a local uni library that has a 3d printing service, i'll see if i can get her to print this up for me to test and see what adjustments it needs to work, if it even works at all

How goes it?

 

So I came across this tread looking for an launcher adapter.....and not knowing if more where going to get printed. I figured I try to make one. Here’s a 3D test print.

I opted for a slightly different design then ATP’s. I wanted to mimic the animation
where the launcher is in-line between the shoulder and neck. And also add that black “mounting plate” so it looks like the launcher is mounted on top of it vs. it be a hinge look.

The swivel can also be flip if you prefer the launcher location to be over the shoulder like ATP’s design.

I still need to make some tolerance adjustments and to the mounting plate as this is only the first test print

Looks good. I'm not sure if @autotronprime is even making accessories anymore, let alone this. It's been 5 months since he's was last signed in to TFW2005. I think he's checked out of the game.

Interesting....
If i place the swivel 1/4” back it’s normal location....it allows for better shoulder articulation since it’s a bit out of the way. Look how far up I can bring up the shoulder. And the launcher has better range of movement too. So does the head....






here’s the difference between the normal swivel location (right black) vs. the push back 1/4”

I know this can be relatively expensive because of the time and materials for small runs, and my budget is still recovering, but I have 4 Sphinx versions so might be interested anyway..
