I was so excited when I first saw this figure, but the reviews make it seem so....lackluster. For the size I feel like there should be something more going on. If it were smaller perhaps it would make sense. Don't get me wrong, it's a gorgeous design. The colors alone make this fantastic, but GT set an extremely high bar for the t-beast style with Red Bull that this seems to pale in comparison.

Oh, I'm sure there's a way, for more reasons than just this--some people may just plain want to replace the battery some day when it goes dead!

But you're right, I can't quite tell what the best way for removal is. Maybe if mine stops lighting up, I'll brave taking that bit of glue off and see if that helps with removal.

Honestly, personally, this doesnt need any more gimmicks. I think that it has a very niche appeal and it wasn't an instant hit, so initial sales were probably low. I picked it up thinking that its an odd piece, and I would get this in white but no chance if they produced the other Seekers and beyond. Its way better than I expected and I would be really tempted by Skywarp and Thundercracker colours now, and even Coneheads too!

I'm not looking for gimmicks, but there's a certain elegance I love in some of the larger 3rd party offerings. Call me needy, but I love it when they tow the line between fiddly nightmare and intuitive.

I agree, GT have ruined T-Beasts for me haha. Their engineering design on Primal is straightforward, but elegant with a lot that comes out/apart and collapses back onto whatever mode you're going to.

Its so much fun that only larger figures like Cang Toys Predacons rival him imo. I love the aesthetic but this Starscream, DX9's Ancestrod, and PE Xerxes just don't "do" enough to make me feel like their alt modes are complete/justified.

The transformation has to feel like things have rearranged, not just compacted imo.

    :D :D (Edit)

Just recently came across this figure. I see him more of a Phoenix ,with the tail, than of a falcon. I don't mind it.

My head cannon is Starscream' spark was still floating around the solar system after the Maximals defeated him in season 1. Sometimes late in the third season or maybe during The Ascending, he finally came back down to earth and enter the Beast Wars.

Red Falcon's glowing chest is his spark, so it is Starscream's mutant, undestructible spark that was established in BW

Pretty much the same with me. Except with a weird twists that it's after the main cast left, and for some reason all the other, generic characters are on the planet now and getting walloped. :D

Exactly. The kind of thing were Maximals and Predacons are fighting, then he shows up, and it's too much for either side to handle by themselves. Maybe even together.

Seriously, I totally would have taken two seasons of that over Beast Machines.

Found an old cape set (from TFC?) and tried on Starscream, the shoulder fits well, cape is little short.
Personally I think the MP11's head fit very well. It's one handsome Starscream.

Great pic! MP11 head really making him have more serious looking vibe than the original one

Like it very much. I didn't transform it yet because I was afraid it might broken at shoulder or hip joints, even though mine should be version 2. (I need to do a full inspection and add lub if needed before I dare to transform it.)
But with that saying, it's one hell of beautiful figure, very imposing, even without transformation, just as a statue it worth the asking price in my opinion.

I think i like this. Gonna sleep on it and decide later if I really do want to get it.

However, looking at Emgo's JTI review, I can't help but think what a great base this figure would be to retool a Terrorsaur, even a Transmetal version where he goes full-on screamin' jet mode.

In spite of the really awkward tail, I do rather like the alt mode. Not a perfect figure, but not bad.
