Trailbreaker's pack-in weapon isn't as awful as Hoist's traffic cone, so a Nonnef upgrade might be good but not vital for me. I need him to get the yellow Lambo spoiler ready, work up some kind of spoiler for the Sunstreaker mold, and get the Earthrise Datsun sets done. Maybe reissue the guns he did for the clones.

 

The datsun-bros Upgrades made by someone else that are on ebay have a really nice feature to them which is Datsun/Nissan logo wheel covers. There is also 3 different designs of shoulder launcher and even some sort of chest insert piece too & the Prowl set even has some extra stickers too.

I wonder if anyone has ever thought about prowl stickers for the various Cyberverse Prowl's as those all tend to be missing essential details even more than Cyberverse ones.

I wanna see what NONNEF's looks like

 

What are those, painted 3D printed parts or is it casted plastic?

 

ZXB uses 3d printed parts, the only one I know that still does casting for parts is Renderform, Nonnef uses injection molding and I'm not sure what Dr Wu uses, but nearly every other upgrade group is 3d printed products

 

Looks nice, but they should have included Barricade. Maybe they'll do that separately? Given the cost, I will wait on Nonnef, but I would get these just for the wheelcovers.

I'll need to see pics of Trailbreaker actually with all the pieces attached but it looks like a get for me. Here is hoping that after Trailbreaker we get Sunstreaker's spoiler (which should be pretty easy to design... the figure looks tailor made to have such an addition made) and a new gun.

I’ve always missed the twin blaster from the original tour that has been completely neglected in every subsequent toy and media appearance. Nice to see Nonnef include it.

I think they are 3D printed. I was darn temped to buy them just for the wheelcovers. I love that they have Nissan / Datsun logos on them.

 

I ordered the ZXB Datsun 3-pack from TFSafari and got shipment notification today. I'll post pics once I have them in hand. I was quite happy with my Matrix Workshop kits for the Siege Datsuns, and these look even better.

 

When I think about it, the fillers are all I really want since yeah, Trailbreaker's stock wrist weapon is much less egregious than Hoist's was.

 

Classified Cobra throne should be going up next week too alongside the trailbreaker set

Anyone else want a better lightning rod for Gigawatt? The official one is TERRIBLE, the most twisted, floppy, rubbery accessory I've encountered in many years. Simply can't be used, looks terrible in all modes.

Doesn't need a redesign, just "copy it, but use plastic instead of vinyl".

(a tweak to the car-mode mounting post would be nice though----the angle looks wrong IMHO, should lay down a bit lower)
